Location: Demon Island
"This is interesting....very....very interesting."
The winged demon flew through the cold sea, unable to get her off Mitsune and Kitsune as his grin widens.
"I am not imagining it...its...them...one of them... who our king hate the most." He chuckles mischievously as he comes across some red mist, clearly not affected by it as he flies through it with no issue.
As he flaps her wings to move the mist away it reveals a huge island protected by a visible red seal covering the island. He descends towards the island as his body passes the visible red aura created by the seal, landing on the ground with a rough thud.
"I was wondering when you would return, i was soooo bored." A soft female voice echos as she reveals herself from the trees, her grin revealing her sharp shark-like teeth.
He notices her voice as he stands up to his feet from landing, giving her a side eye.
"Oh princess Daki, you shouldn't be here. You don't want to upset your father....you do know how he acts when he is not in a good mood.
"Oh come on, he clearly has better things to do than worry about me. I am more interested in what you found out there."
He grins deviously as she heard her, causing her to also grin as she took a rest on the ground.
"Go on..."
"Gods.....gods have infiltrated this world. Two of them."
Daki's eyes widened in delight as she kept grinning, interested by his finding. "Gods you say....so they finally realized how useless the so called vessels are eh?"
"It seems so...but i highly doubt that, they seem to be accompanied by some kid, probably the next vessel."
Daki's rolled as he heard the word 'next vessel', irritated by the mention of vessels as she sighed heavily.
" When are they gonna give up, who are even those gods who make such an idiotic decision."
"Two of them, clearly looked the same according to their similar hair colour...probably twins."
Daki's eyes widened as she heard they the two goddesses were likely twins. She got up as she wiped some dirt off herself, turning herself around as she began to leave.
"Daki?
She stopped on her tracks as the winged demon called to her. She turned around as she gave him a huge grin.
"Surprise me and kill them for me."
She threw a bear shaped syringe at him, containing a mysterious red liquid. He grabbed it, kneeling as he bowed to her.
"I understand princess. Your command is for me to fulfil it.
Meanwhile...
"D-demons?"
I repeat Mistune's word as they both look down in frustration. Demons? I thought demons were just evil spiritual entities that tempt us into committing sins, but this is just on another whole level.
"Demons you said. Is this some kind of joke or something? You didn't tell me about this."
I speak out in irritated which caused Mitsune to stomp his foot on the ground as grits her teeth.
" Well we would have told you if you didn't recklessly cause this situation. And for the record, its not a joke, what we saw there was indeed a demon...at least one of its them."
She takes a sigh as she finishes her sentence, taking a look at the window beside the entrance as she sterns her eyes, bringing a bit of concern to her sister.
"Its...ok Mitsune, we still have the next vessel by our side. Negativity emotions wont take us anymore."
The bearded man's brows rise as he stopped midway into taking a sip of water from a glass cup he held. "Vessel you say. I haven't heard that word for a long time. I wounder what happened to them, no matter, they were not much use. Anyway what's the next Vessel to fall to the demon king?"
Mitsune and Kitsune looked at each other in concern as the place goes quiet. Their gaze dart to me, forcing to immediately resort to looking away as i drop of sweat forms on my forehead.
"Ahem... well i guess you should all take a nap to get off what happened earlier. You can rest here...you will have to fill me in as to how you arrive here.
"Oh i am Magma by the way"
After introducing himself, he gets up as he puts the now empty glass on a nearby table, eventually leaving.
I stood there wondering all that was about. What did he mean by 'haven't heard the word in a long time'? There are others before me? And most importantly who the hell is the demon king?!"Oh i almost forgot "
Mitsune breaks the silence as she approaches me, her body alarmingly too close to me as i slowly take a step back.
"Umm...something wrong?"
I try to take another step back but she immediately grabbed my head, locking me in place. Our foreheads meet, emitting a bright light as my head felt warm....too warm. Eventually she lets go of me as the light slowly vanishes.
"There, that might do it...you might feel a little sensation in your..."
Suddenly i felt severe head ache as i fell to the ground, clenching my head tightly as i roll on the ground in pain. It felt like my brain was about to melt this instant.
"W-what did you do...to me? My head feels like its overheating."
Mitsune sighs as she went to take a sit on the couch as she closes her eyes.
" Don't make a big deal about it. It would soon wear out. Just don't disturb the process, you would soon pass out if you do."
It was easier said than done! This feeling was unbearable and couldn't bare to let it continue for much longer. I tried bonking my head to somehow reduce the pain but it only made it worse as my head got abnormally hotter.
I felt my vision being erased as i open my eyes weakly, the energy being drained out of me with no warning, slowly letting go of my head as my eye lids lose hold of each other as they close my eyes, until everything goes dark.
"Told him sooo,"
Mitsune says as she yawns, tired and annoyed by the situation she in as her sister roams the house with interest.
" I wounder if they have some coffee beans or tea or something."
Suddenly they hear a loud flap of wings from outside, causing them to give each other stern looks.
"Figured he might return. Unfortunately we cant stand here long....."
Mitsune sighs as she takes a look at Light's unconscious body, tapping her temple as she thinks of a way of dealing with the current matter.
