"New Eden?" After listening to Bein's description, Takeru inquired curiously.
"Yes, there's a legend in the village. New Eden lies beyond the dense forest, where the sun rises." Hearing Takeru's words, the man shared what he knew.
"Where the sun rises, beyond the dense forest." Hearing his words, Takeru looked eastward. Then, he extended his consciousness. Following the clues, he soon detected a waterfall. Penetrating through the waterfall, he discovered a more secluded village...
"I see. But what was Jesby's purpose in annihilating Zagros Village?" Thinking this, Takeru looked at the still unconscious Jesby.
As he considered, a Nen Needle formed in Takeru's hand. He directed it toward the sleeping Jesby.
Avoiding the possibility of Jesby being a special existence, Takeru did not intend to use Kotoamatsukami on her.
As the Nen Needle entered Jesby's head, the sleeping girl stirred. Takeru gathered some water and splashed it on her face. Soon, she awoke, her eyes vacant as she stared at Takeru.
The others quietly watched Takeru's actions, somewhat bewildered.
"Now, Jesby. Tell me everything about your identity and purpose." Looking at Jesby, Takeru directly spoke.
"Yes. I am a Dragon Bishop. My goal here was to summon a dragon. But summoning a dragon requires immense energy and a great deal of life force. Coincidentally, a few months ago, a special meteorite landed nearby. It contained tremendous energy, perfect for dragon summoning."
"Energy was sufficient, but life force remained an issue. Although Zagros Village had over three hundred people, it was far from enough. However, while I could sense many humans in the place they called New Eden, I never found them. So I continued searching for a location to perform the ritual."
"Ultimately, I wanted to understand the humans I sensed near the waterfall. I tried contacting Bein, and through him learned of the New Eden legend. When Bein grew suspicious, I had a monster parasitize him."
"Then, coincidentally, you Heroes appeared. I intended to make use of you." Hearing Takeru's inquiry, Jesby recounted everything.
"I see." Hearing her words, Takeru now completely understood the entire situation.
"Takeru, what should we do with her now?" Looking at the Dragon Bishop who appeared as a little girl, Hachiman hesitated, looking at Takeru.
"As a Dragon Bishop, we cannot simply ignore her. For now, wait a moment. If we kill her now, the mission might immediately end. At this moment, it doesn't seem like the optimal solution." Hearing Hachiman's words, Takeru said calmly.
"Master, you... you're going to kill her?" Hearing Takeru's words, Yusuke was visibly shaken.
"Yes. If not for me, Bein-san would have been killed by her already. If we hadn't discovered her early, once she performed the ritual, it's uncertain how many people she would have killed. And before this, her hands were already stained with countless lives."
"Of course, these aren't the main points. The important thing is that her existence has become an obstacle to our mission. Therefore, she must die." Looking at Yusuke and the others' expressions, Takeru taught them another lesson.
Human life is precious, but sometimes it is also worthless.
As for questions of right and wrong, they were even more meaningless. If Takeru and the others were weak, they would have been killed in the monster horde. But Takeru's strength surpassed the horde, surpassed her. Therefore, she, as the enemy, was wrong.
"Bein-san." After speaking to Yusuke and the others, Takeru turned to Bein.
"Yes, Hero!" Hearing Takeru's words, Bein quickly stood.
"I have found New Eden. Not far away, there is another group of people, also former villagers of Zagros Village and a young man. Do you wish to continue living here, live with those people over there, or return to report New Eden's location and lead the villagers there?"
"New Eden? Another group? Could it be Dan and the others? Can I meet with Dan and them first?" Hearing Takeru's words, Bein said excitedly.
"Of course." Hearing his words, Takeru directly nodded.
Then, Takeru used Teleportation Magic to bring Bein to the group not far away. It consisted of several elderly people and a young man. The moment Bein saw the elders, he became deeply emotional. They were indeed the former villagers.
After separating from Bein, Dan had found the elders by chance. To help them survive better, he remained with them.
When everyone heard that Takeru had found New Eden, they were overcome with gratitude.
Regarding returning to report, although some resented the village chief, they understood it was a necessary measure. With their families still in the village, they decided to return and report.
…
In the blink of an eye, three days passed. Over these three days, after much persuasion, the villagers completely resolved to relocate. The group set out for New Eden.
After Takeru removed the meteorite embedded in the wall, the so-called village was revealed to everyone. Takeru then completely broke the barrier, creating a bridge for everyone to cross to the new land.
The secluded mountain villagers warmly welcomed the arrival of the Zagros Village's people. Some elders had even met before. Now, they enthusiastically greeted the relocating Zagros villagers.
Under Takeru's direction, this isolated, nameless village was renamed Zagros Village.
Takeru then helped establish a large defensive barrier to protect the village from monster intrusions.
After three busy days, Takeru had handled everything. Yusuke and the others resumed their normal training. With matters settled, Takeru gathered Yusuke and the others again.
Takeru prepared to kill Jesby. Barring unforeseen circumstances, with Jesby's death, Takeru and the others would immediately leave this world upon mission completion. Perhaps they would never meet again.
"Master, is there something? Do you have new magic to teach us?" Looking at Takeru summoning them, everyone looked at him expectantly.
"No. I called you here to say goodbye." Hearing Iu's words, Takeru gently shook his head.
"Eh, goodbye? What do you mean?" Hearing Takeru's words, Yusuke and the others were stunned.
"Exactly as the words say. I need to return to my own world." Hearing Yusuke's words, Takeru said calmly.
"Master's world? Wait, isn't Master's world our world?" Hearing Takeru's words, Keita was bewildered.
Only Yusuke was visibly shaken upon hearing this. Then, recalling Takeru's actions and abilities in the real world, he finally understood why Takeru was an extra player, why his abilities were so extraordinary, why even the dragon of this world was no match for Takeru.
He had initially wondered, with a powerhouse like Takeru, why the future world still faced crisis. If Takeru never belonged to this world from the start and simply would not be present when the future disaster struck, everything made sense.
As for what Takeru and the others were, perhaps like themselves, they came to this other world.
Upon completing certain missions and fulfilling their purpose, they would permanently leave this world. They themselves needed to complete ten missions, while Takeru, Hachiman, and the others perhaps only needed two...
"Wait, Master. Will we never see each other again?" Hearing Takeru's words, Iu spoke frantically.
"Yes. Currently, you may still struggle against the future disaster. But if you work hard in the time ahead, you too can become saviors." Looking at the group before him, Takeru spoke softly.
"But... we can't. Without Master, we absolutely can't do it!" Hearing Takeru's words, Kusue, beginning to understand, tears falling from her eyes.
"You can. In earlier missions, without us, you successfully completed missions. Now, with the power you possess, I believe it will be even easier in the future." Looking at the crying Kusue, Takeru continued.
