**Day 21: Night – White Weirdo Pervert Inn**
In the end, Merimeri…? I escorted the young lady back to the lord's mansion, and apparently a messenger will come another day.
The class rep stayed angry the whole time, but she finally stopped crying.
"No, look? It's like that thing—there's no first prize if you don't hit it, right? So it's fine, yeah?"
"Uuuugh, what do you mean there's no first prize if you don't hit it!? Does that mean everything except the grand prize is a miss!? Is first prize just tissues!? Disposable!? Why do you do such dangerous things!?"
"No, seriously, I figured out the weakness of weapon skills. It's fine."
I spent forever explaining the fatal flaw of weapon skills to the class rep, along with all the side effects.
"Weapon skills make you shout nonstop while doing intense exercise, so you run out of breath? In exchange, they have amazing diet effects? That's what Billy the Captain said? One more set?"
"Why is Billy the Captain being summoned!? What about boot camp in the original world!? Why one more set!? I exercise every day so I'm fine!!"
She says she's fine…? …No, never mind, Captain!
As expected, my level didn't go up. Even watching the class rep and the others, going from Lv 9 to 10, 19 to 20, or 29 to 30 takes forever. If even cheat-powered people have trouble leveling, normal people must have an insanely hard time. That means levels rise slowly, and bad people probably don't feel like they're rising at all. Maybe they don't even want to rise. It doesn't feel like they're getting pumped up. My skills seem to be saging me.

Even though I showed up at the adventurers' guild every single day like a proper worker, my "NEET" level went up… It's now "NEET Lv4"… Does going to the guild not count because I'm unemployed? Or does being unemployed just keep making it rise? That's completely hopeless!
There are new ones too: "High-Speed Thinking Lv1" and "Instant Speed Lv1." They sound fast.
I've probably gotten faster. From a high school boy's perspective, getting too fast would be problematic. "Sensitivity" has also gone up secretly, but verification is impossible. I've never tried it from a high school boy's perspective, so I don't know. I have no plans to try it from a high school boy's perspective, so I don't know. There's no one to try it with from a high school boy's perspective, so I don't know. It looks like the hope of trying it from a high school boy's perspective is disappearing too… I'll have to find Akemi-san's shop somewhere in this world… Can high school boys even enter?
**Day 21: Night – White Weirdo Pervert Inn – Girls' Meeting**
Today's study session and reflection meeting after training. We all talked, shared opinions, thought together, and made decisions together.
But in the end, no matter what, the conversation always comes back to Haruka-kun…
Especially today, of all days…
Haruka-kun finally did it.
He fought high-level bandits and they used weapon skills on him.
I say "apparently" because he was completely unharmed. He didn't have a single scratch.
But if any of those attacks had actually hit him, it wouldn't have ended well.
He could have died… He might really have died, and yet
"There's no first prize if you don't hit it," he says, but if it does hit, is it first prize? I don't get the meaning?
Anyway, he came back.
Anyway, he was still alive.
Anyway, he didn't die.
Anyway, he told us he was fine.
But
But how long will he be fine?
How long will he keep not dying?
How long will he keep staying alive?
How long will he keep coming back?
Tomorrow he might not come back at all, right?
Even today he claimed he was just a victim who got dragged into trouble while trying to pass by, but that's obviously a lie.
There's no way anyone could tangle with Haruka-kun while he's seriously sprinting at full speed. How insanely fast would a bandit have to be to catch up and start something?
He helped them while pretending to just pass by, while making an annoyed face, while looking dissatisfied, while acting like it had nothing to do with him.
Just like always.
Like he did with Odajima-kun and the others.
Like he did with Izumizaki-san and the others.
And like he did with us.
He helps while pretending it's just a coincidence.
"What should we do? Should we put a watch on him?"
"What should we do? Should we tie him up?"
"What should we do? Should we bind him?"
"What should we do? Should we glue him?"
Everyone's worried and trying to think of something… The glue person… well, she's thinking too, probably.
But we all know we can't actually do that. We can't just keep watching him, following him around, surrounding him, staying on guard, escorting him, protecting him, staying by his side, guarding him, restraining him, gluing him… We can't do that. We shouldn't. There's no way it would be okay. But we're still anxious.
Even if we begged him, Haruka-kun probably wouldn't change.
And deep down, we probably don't want him to change either.
