Chapter 168 - Ayanokouji Atsuomi

Atsuomi now had a very great interest in the figure named Ryunosuke.

If Ryunosuke knew that Kiyotaka had "sold him out," he would surely grab the young man's collar and shout loudly:

"Damn you! Why are you bragging as if I'm so amazing? I myself don't even know I'm that great!"

Kiyotaka was clearly exaggerating the facts, and that was indeed his goal. He wanted his father to understand the fact that his son, who was the White Room's finest masterpiece, had been surpassed by someone.

If his father wanted to test the depth of Ryunosuke's abilities...

Kiyotaka fell silent for a moment... but finally he steeled his thoughts.

(Akasaka... he must have a way, yes, that's right.)

Although Atsuomi was interested in that person, in the end he still chose to focus on his own son. He tried to persuade Kiyotaka to abandon his studies and come home with him.

Kiyotaka's gaze appeared dim, as if wanting to make a final resistance, he said to his father:

"Akasaka is really amazing, how about you try him first?"

Atsuomi waved his hand in refusal. "Forget it, I don't have time to play with a snot-nosed brat like that. Hurry and come home with me, Kiyotaka. The White Room still needs you."

Kiyotaka's eyes dimmed again. His father was truly a bastard. Even in this place, he wouldn't let him go.

He sighed, stood up, and said firmly to his biological father:

"I won't go back with you to that prison."

"I like my life now. I just want to be an ordinary person, so please don't force your greedy ambitions on me."

"I won't let you control my life. Even if you really force me out of this school and back to the White Room, I still won't obey your orders."

"Give up."

Atsuomi laughed dismissively. "Truly a rebellious son. What exactly makes you feel capable of opposing me?"

"Is it because of that Akasaka Ryunosuke you mentioned earlier?"

Seeing him interested in Ryunosuke again, Kiyotaka's eyes sparkled once more. He intended to repeat the same trick to continue provoking.

"Yes, you're right. He's the one who gave me this courage." Kiyotaka admitted it bluntly, even bragging further. "There's no one in the White Room who can match him, including me."

Atsuomi of course knew what his foolish son was planning. However, he was indeed truly curious about that person.

"Akasaka Ryunosuke, huh?" Atsuomi tapped his finger on the desk, pretending to think.

He knew very well Kiyotaka was using this person as a shield. Just like Eiichiro, most likely this person named Ryunosuke was also being used. However, he couldn't ignore his son's words just like that.

Atsuomi looked at Narumori and asked if that was true. Narumori answered honestly.

"That child is indeed very extraordinary."

"Two days after entering school, he already joined the student council, and he has a very large amount of personal points."

"Speaking of points, even if the points of this school's student council president and vice president were combined, they still wouldn't be as much as his."

Atsuomi's finger tapping on the desk stopped. He appeared to be getting interested.

"I see... then this child is indeed somewhat special. But that doesn't seem to prevent me from taking you home, does it? Kiyotaka."

Kiyotaka's gaze dimmed again. He thought after "selling out" Ryunosuke he could secure himself, unexpectedly his stubborn father was so obsessed with him.

No other choice...

Kiyotaka took a deep breath and made a decision. "I still won't go with you..."

Some time later. The conversation ended. It was clear that the meeting ended unpleasantly. One wanted his son to drop out of school and return to the White Room for his career, while the other stubbornly refused and intended to oppose his father to the end.

Narumori watched his teacher's retreating back, then patted Kiyotaka's shoulder beside him while saying in a serious tone.

"You must be careful. My teacher, who is also your father, won't give up just like that. Going forward, even my own position may be threatened. Take good care of yourself, Kiyotaka-kun."

Narumori crossed his hands behind his back and prepared to leave. Kiyotaka commented with a flat face:

"You're not taking responsibility to the end? You're the one who let me enter here, at least help a little."

Unfortunately, Narumori ignored him. He would be very busy going forward; even his position as Chairman might not last long. He had to prepare immediately. At least, he had to arrange everything for Arisu's sake.

Narumori walked to the student council president's office and waited for Manabu's arrival.

Not long after, Manabu finished walking in, just as he saw Chairman Sakayanagi already sitting in his chair.

Akane, walking behind, was startled because Manabu suddenly stopped, causing her to bump into his back and nearly fall. She rubbed her forehead and asked in confusion:

"What's wrong, President?"

Manabu adjusted his glasses, didn't answer, but only pointed forward. Akane peeked and was surprised to see the Chairman.

Nagumo and Kohei (who was replacing Ryunosuke's work) also entered, and they were surprised to see the school's big boss at the student council office.

Narumori waved his hand at them while smiling kindly, not showing any arrogance of a Chairman at all.

"Hello everyone. I have something I want to discuss with you all today, do you have free time?"
