They both burst out laughing.
Soon they arrived at the busy streets of Myeongdong Shopping Street.Neon signs, cosmetic stores, street food stalls, and music filled the air.
Minju's eyes sparkled.
"Wow…"
Jimin smiled watching her reaction.
"You've never been here?"
She shook her head.
"My mom says it's too crowded."
"Well," he spread his arms dramatically, "today your tour guide will fix that."They started walking through the street stalls.
Minju picked up a bracelet.
"No, this one is prettier."
Jimin grabbed another.
"This one looks better."
She frowned.
"No it doesn't."
"Yes it does."
"No."
"Yes."
"No."
The shop owner watched them argue like two children and laughed.
"Why don't you both buy them?"
They looked at each other.
. "…Fine."
They ended up buying a half-heart bracelet set. Each bracelet held half of a silver heart.
When placed together, it became whole.
Jimin tied one around Minju's wrist.
Then she tied the other around his.
"You're not allowed to take it off," she said seriously.
He raised an eyebrow.
. . "Never?"
"Never."
He nodded.
"Deal."
They left the stall to another stall, Minju picked up a pair of tiny silver earrings.
. "These are cute."
Jimin suddenly grabbed them.
"Let me try."
. . "Wait...."
Too late.
He had already clipped one on.
Minju stared.
"You look ridiculous."
"Do I?"
He turned to the mirror dramatically.
"Honestly… I think I look handsome."
She laughed so hard she had to hold her stomach.
"Take it off!"
"No."
"Yes!"
"No."
She sighed.
"Fine… just smooth your hair at least."
He fixed his hair and looked at her again.
"Better?"
She nodded, still smiling.
"You're still weird though."
It was a already 4pm
they climbed up to the famous N Seoul Tower.
Couples surrounded the area, writing messages and attaching locks.
Minju looked around in amazement.
"So many couples…"
Jimin scratched his neck awkwardly.
"…Yeah."
They found a small wall where people wrote names.
Minju grabbed a marker.
"I'll write it."
"No way," Jimin said. "My handwriting is better."
She scoffed.
"Your handwriting looks like a doctor's prescription."
"My handwriting is art."
"No it's not."
"Yes it is."
"Prove it."
He grinned.
"Rock paper scissors?"
She cracked her knuckles.
"Prepare to lose."
"Ready?"
"Ready."
"Rock… paper… scissors!"
Minju showed paper.
Jimin showed scissors.
He threw his hands in the air.
. Am"Victory!"
She groaned dramatically.
. "You cheated."
"I won fairly."
He grabbed the marker and proudly wrote on the wall.
Jimin + Minju
He even added a tiny heart.
Minju stared at it quietly.
Her cheeks turned pink.
Then suddenly....
.She stretched up and drew a tiny heart on Jimin's cheek with the marker.
He froze.
"Did you just draw on my face?"
She nodded proudly.
"You look better now."
"Oh really?"
He grabbed the marker and quickly drew a mustache on her face.
Minju gasped.
"YAH!"
She pretended to be furious and stomped away.
"I'm not talking to you!"
Jimin burst out laughing and ran after her.
"Hey! Wait!"
She walked faster.
He finally caught her hand and pulled her back gently. They both started laughing like little kids.
The wind blew around them as their laughter echoed.
For a moment…
"You're so silly...",she laughed
"Ringgggggggg...."
Suddenly Jimin's phone rang.
He checked the screen.
His expression changed.
"I need to take this."
Minju nodded.
"Okay."
He stepped away.
She watched him from a distance.
"…Hello?"
His voice became serious.
He listened.
His eyes widened slightly.
"…Yes."
Another pause.
"…I understand."
Then the call ended.
Jimin stood still for several seconds.
Then he turned back.
But he didn't look the same anymore.
His shoulders seemed heavier.
"Where are you going?" Minju asked.
"I need to stop somewhere first."
"Where?"
He hesitated.
"…bighit..they want to see me ."
"Oh okay i should come with you" she said and he agreed
Soon they arrived outside a tall building.
The sign read:
Big Hit Entertainment
Minju looked at the walls frames
Jimin forced a smile.
"I… have to go inside for a bit."
She nodded slowly.
"Okay. I'll wait."
He walked inside.
Minju sat on a chair inside.
Five minutes passed.
Ten minutes.
Twenty minutes.
She kicked the ground nervously.
What is he doing in there?
Finally…
The door opened.
Jimin stepped out.
But he looked different.
His face looked pale.
His eyes were red.
He walked slowly toward her.
Minju stood up.
"Jimin?"
He stopped in front of her.
He stared at her quietly.
Then....
A single tear slipped from his eye.
Minju's heart dropped.
"Jimin…?"
But he didn't answer.
He just looked at her like someone who had just made the hardest decision of his life.
"... I.."
