A terrifying aura erupted from within Illustrious. She suddenly clenched her fingers, and a surge of Extreme Ice Power rapidly condensed upon her fist. Her fist transformed into an ice fist, which she then swung out fiercely, colliding exactly with the wolf claw that the sprinting Wolf of the North had swung down with great force.
"Bang!"
Fist and claw collided violently. A thunderous roar erupted from the point of impact, and a massive shockwave of energy surged out, spreading in all directions.
"Boom!"
Although the ice power contained in the Wolf of the North's right claw was overbearing, it could not resist in the face of Illustrious's Extreme Ice Power. The Wolf of the North was knocked flying, crashing onto the Boreal Plaza, while Illustrious only shifted a single small step. The difference between the two was clear; in a clash of pure strength, the Wolf of the North was no match for Illustrious at all.
The Wolf of the North slowly climbed back up, its expression solemn as it stared intently at the soaring aura of Illustrious. It cried out inwardly, wondering where this little monster had come from to actually surpass it by a margin in a clash of strength.
The most frightening part was that its own ice power could not flow smoothly when it touched Illustrious. Looking at that power, it was clearly Extreme Ice Power—could this ant possibly possess a gnosis?
Watching the battle from afar, Mona's mouth hung open in shock when she saw the Wolf of the North sent flying. She hadn't expected that the incredibly terrifying Wolf of the North would be punched away by Illustrious. To be able to do that, Illustrious might just have strength equal to the Seven Gods!
The Wolf of the North said in a deep voice, "Thou art somewhat interesting. It seems thou art worthy of Mine full strength. Feel honored! For the only one who has ever forced Me to use Mine full power is the Anemo Archon, Barbatos. Now, behold Mine terror."
"Where did all this nonsense come from? If you're going to use it, use it quickly, or I'm afraid you won't have the chance later," Illustrious said coldly.
"Thou art only arrogant for now. Watch how I shall tear thee apart later." The Wolf of the North howled at the sky again. This time, the sound was even more soul-shaking than before, causing Mona to crouch down and cover her ears.
After the Wolf of the North finished its roar, it felt very satisfied. To be forced to bring out its true strength—it seemed there would be a hearty battle today!
With a'shoo' sound, the Wolf of the North kicked off the ground. The hard earth was shattered into a web of cracks by the immense force. Using the powerful reaction force, the Wolf of the North leaped into the sky and smashed down toward Illustrious.
Looking at the crashing Wolf of the North, Illustrious could sense the terrifying power of that strike. The Wolf of the North at full strength was indeed formidable. Feeling that she couldn't take it head-on, Illustrious immediately performed a light leap, landing outside the attack range just as she escaped the Wolf of the North's lethal smash.
"Bang!" The Wolf of the North slammed into the ground, instantly freezing the earth into ice. Realizing it hadn't hit Illustrious, the Wolf of the North suddenly spun its body and whipped its tail with great force, smashing it toward Illustrious not far away.
The force behind the tail was quite astonishing. It stirred up bursts of energy as it passed, carrying a blurred white shadow. Like a bolt of lightning, it pierced through space and shot toward Illustrious.
The sudden tail-whip attack caused a flash of surprise in Illustrious's eyes, but her expression remained steady. Judging the direction of the incoming tail, she slightly curved her hand into a claw and, instead of retreating, she advanced, striking toward the tail like lightning.
Seeing that Illustrious actually wanted to catch its tail with her bare hands, the Wolf of the North was filled with contempt: 'Courting death! Watch how I break your slender hand.'
"Bang!" The tail slammed directly into Illustrious's slender hand. But to the Wolf of the North's surprise, not only was her hand not broken, but she actually grabbed its tail firmly.
The Wolf of the North looked closely and found that her slender hand had been reinforced into an ice hand using Extreme Ice Power, allowing her to catch its terrifying tail-whip with extreme sturdiness.
Holding the tail, Illustrious jumped with force and instantly began to spin in mid-air. As her body rotated, the Wolf of the North, whose tail was gripped in her hand, began to spin along with her.
After a full rotation, Illustrious suddenly released the Wolf of the North's tail. Accompanied by the sharp sound of breaking wind and oppressive air pressure, the Wolf of the North became a white shadow, smashing violently toward the wall of the Boreal Plaza with intense force.
"Boom!" The immense centrifugal force sent the Wolf of the North's entire body smashing into the wall, instantly creating a giant crater.
"I'll give you a harsh move," Illustrious shouted sharply, and a snow-white long spear immediately condensed in her right hand.
Countless amounts of Extreme Ice Power continuously gathered onto the snow-white spear, causing it to erupt with a blinding white light. The white light grew more and more intense until it was finally impossible to look at directly.
Then, with a forceful swing, the snow-white spear shot out like a Javelin toward the Wolf of the North, who was still smashed against the wall of the Boreal Plaza.
The power of this snow-white spear was incredible. Space vibrated wherever it passed, leaving a snow-white trail in mid-air that was extremely conspicuous.
The snow-white spear carried a series of sonic booms, cutting through the sky and vanishing in a flash. Its unstoppable, terrifying momentum seemed as if it would pierce a giant hole in the sky.
One would have thought the Wolf of the North, unable to move after being smashed into the plaza wall, would be terrified of being skewered. Unexpectedly, not only was it not afraid of the incoming snow-white spear, but it actually began to laugh happily. "Hahaha, thou art not Mine match after all. Watch how I shall counter-kill thee."
"Hmph! Big words. Let's see how you die," Illustrious said with a tone of disdain.
The Wolf of the North was stuck in the wall, but its mouth emitted an energy ball of cold power. Energy continuously gathered within it until it reached three feet in diameter, then the cold energy ball shot out instantly, striking toward Illustrious like a bolt of lightning.
The power of the cold energy ball was terrifying, instantly compressing the surrounding space until it vibrated. Wherever it passed, it created a vacuum zone that countless air currents rushed to fill, hinting at its dreadful power.
The cold energy ball cut through the sky. Under the Gaze of three pairs of eyes, it collided violently with the incoming snow-white spear. A low sonic boom suddenly exploded. The two collided like meteorites, clashing with a roar and splashing out countless energy shockwaves. The massive pressure directly forced the nearby trees to collapse to the ground.
The power of the cold energy ball was astonishing; it swallowed the snow-white spear in an instant and continued its path toward Illustrious with undiminished momentum.
The cold energy ball was so fast that Illustrious couldn't dodge in time. As a result, it slammed squarely into her body.
"Boom!" An earth-shattering explosion erupted. Flames surged, and a mushroom cloud rose into the air. The blast from the collision created an energy shockwave that expanded in all directions.
