The command in Selene's voice had been unmistakable.
Alpha command.
The kind that forced wolves to obey without question. The kind that bypassed instinct, logic, and resistance.
When an Alpha gave that order, wolves moved before their minds even processed the words.
It wasn't strength.
It wasn't dominance.
It was authority carved into blood.
The kind only true Alphas possessed.
Yet Selene stood in front of me trembling, blood staining the side of her shirt, her breathing ragged.
She is a female.
Untrained.
Unclaimed—at least not fully.
And she had been raised her entire life believing she was weak.
Powerless.
Yet moments ago, I had watched her throw Marcus across the room with nothing but her voice.
