Multiple weeks have passed, Yeshua kept on teaching in every part of this town. Tabitha joined us and the boys couldn't stop teasing Jaime! I feel bad for Tabitha but I enjoyed seeing Jaime's reactions everytime!
We're gathering in Simon's house right now and John, Tabitha and I are helping Abigail and her mother serve food and drinks to Yeshua and the boys. "Your group is getting larger and larger." Said Abigail when she stood by my side at the arc of the kitchen. I chuckled then looked at the group in the living room. I was idling at the arc while holding a tray of sandwiches. "Yeah. Yeshua said there's more to come," I said to Abigail as I looked at her. She looked at me with widened eyes then chuckled. "What? More boys?" Asked Abigail as she placed her hand on her waist while her other hand held the tray. I shrugged my shoulders then chuckled. "I hope there's more girls other than you and Tabitha," said Abigail then she went into the kitchen. I sighed.
"Shall we go to a wedding?" Asked Yeshua with a smile while holding a sandwich and a glass of water. Whose wedding? Then Jude and James' phone pinged, making them look at their phones while all of us waited for them to say something. Jude and James looked at one another then looked at Yeshua with shock. "What happened? Why did the crowd go silent?" Asked Abigail's mother as she came near me. "I don't know," was my only reply to her as I kept watching them from the arc of the kitchen. Abigail's mother then carefully took the tray of sandwiches from me. "Oh! I'm sorry!"
Jude and James chuckled. "We're going to our cousin's wedding!" Said Jude with a huge smile on his lips while James can't help but to laugh in astonishment. "What?" Asked Andrew with furrowed brows. "Are you even allowed to bring another guest? Let alone MULTIPLE guests?" Asked Thomas as he placed down his glass of orange juice on the center table.
Tabitha then walked towards me, "what did I miss?" Asked Tabitha as she stood beside me then ate her sandwich and gave me a plate with a sandwich on it. "Thank you," I thanked Tabitha with a smile then received the plate from her. "Apparently we're going to a wedding," I answered Tabitha's question then took a bite from the sandwich.
"Hey, cous!" Said Jude as he now held his phone in front of his face. "I guess we'll find out." Said Jaime to Thomas as he gently elbowed him. They're sitting beside each other on the couch. "Where's James?" Asked the person Jude is talking to on his phone. Jude then faced his phone towards James. "Hi, cous," greet James with a smile on his face.
"You know, Maria, I never imagined that I'd be part of your friend group up til now," said Tabitha so casually as she took another bite of her sandwich. Taken aback by what she just said, I slowly turned my head towards her and looked at her. Tabitha then quickly looked at me, "oh, as if you did," said Tabitha after swallowing the food in her mouth. Yes. Yes, I did. Blame Jaime for it. But I can't let it out my mouth so I just shrugged my shoulders then looked at the boys again.
"A-are you sure?" Asked Jude shyly while still speaking on his phone. "Of, course! I'm sure they're worth it seeing that both you and James went all the way there just to be with them," answered the person that Jude is talking to, making him laugh in gladness. And James as well.
Andrew is hitting Simon's chest due to his excitement, Yeshua and Matthew smiled, while James… "Thank you so much, cous! We're so happy for the both of you!" James said, smiling widely. "Be there, okay? You can read other details from the invitation that I sent to both of you," said the cousin of James and Jude. "We'll be there. Miss you, cous," said Jude with a smile. "Miss you both, too." And Jude put down his phone.
Guess what, the boys went wild. Well, Thomas did not go wild but his frustration was defeated by the boy's happiness. "What did I miss?" Asked John as he came out of nowhere. "Where'd you come from?" Asked Tabitha as she looked at John standing beside her. "He definitely came from the bathroom," said Abigail's mother who was busy arranging things in the kitchen. "That explains the smell," said Tabitha as she looked back at the group. "We're invited to a wedding!" I answered John excitedly then he quickly joined the boys who hadn't finished going wild. "No! Wash your hands first!" Yelled Andrew to John.
