After Yeshua's sermon in front of the cafe, the crowd began to scatter and we, who were sitting on the ground including Yeshua, were now standing up. Jaime and Jude helped James to stand up while Thomas and Matthew talked about the Exile. "Tabitha," called Yeshua to her before she even moved from where she's standing. Tabitha pointed to herself as she widened her eyes while looking at Yeshua. He chuckled and then said, "yes, you." And so Tabitha walked towards Yeshua shyly, passing us by.
"Tabitha? Isn't she the one who always reads the Psalms at church?" John asked me as soon as he came close. "Yes, she is." I answered as I kept on looking at her. "Should we…?" Asked John as he looked at me. He definitely meant eavesdropping. I shook my head, "you know better, John," I said to John then I walked towards Matthew and Thomas. If I'm going to start reading the Holy Bible, I'm going to need someone to help me. And that's definitely-
"My friends," called Yeshua to us, making all of us look at Him and Tabitha. "Please welcome Tabitha in our group," continued Yeshua with a smile. "Should we clap or what?" John asked me as his hands were ready to clap. I looked at him then shrugged my shoulders in response. John slowly clapped but then stopped when Jaime looked at him.
"Welcome, Tabitha." Jude.
"Welcome to the group." James.
"Glad to have another woman in the group." Simon.
"Glad to finally be able to know you." Andrew.
"Welcome." Thomas.
"H-hi," Matthew, but then Thomas elbowed him. "We-welcome to the group, Tabitha." Matthew again.
Jaime just raised his hand as a greeting while smiling. Never seen Jaime act shyly like this. Except… I remember! The whole reason why we heard about Tabitha is because Jaime couldn't stop talking about her! Yeshua looked at me then winked. I quickly looked at John who looked confused as he slowly looked at me. "She is your brother's crush!" I whispered to John excitedly as I now shook his whole being. John's eyes quickly widened, I stopped shaking him, he looked at Tabitha, looked at Jaime, then looked back at me. A mischievous grin slowly forms in his lips. Oh, boy. I slowly let him go. I better warn Jaime about this.
I slowly walked back from John as he began to laugh. "Hi and welcome, Tabitha," I said when I'm now in front of Yeshua and her, then I quickly ran towards Jaime. "What's happening with John?" Asked Jude, looking concerned. "He remembers something he shouldn't have," I answered. "Jaime, you better get yourself ready. John remembers!" I said to Jaime with wide eyes. Jaime is now looking at me with wide eyes as well. "You told him?!" Jaime asked. "Told him what?" Asked James. "Oh." The only word Jude uttered as soon as he got it. "You know?" Asked James as he looked at Jude. "What do I do?!" Jaime asked, panicking. "Jaime likes the newest member." Answered Jude to James' question, making Jaime and I quickly look at him and saw that Jude is now smiling at Jaime. "Oh, boy." The only phrase I uttered.
