Before Cole got comfortable and tried to do what he wanted to do, he suddenly remembered something.
"I can't access the codex."
Though he hadn't tried for about a day, he still felt it was likely he couldn't.
Despite being almost sure it won't work, Cole still decided to try it.
But upon raising his head to check through the room, he saw Linda and Bryan doing separate things in the room.
"I need to find somewhere else," he thought while standing on his feet.
"I will be back, guys; there's something I need to do."
Hearing Cole's words, Bryan just nodded slightly while Linda looked at him with raised eyebrows.
"Hmmmm," she said softly.
After telling the others, he didn't waste time waiting in the room; he quickly turned around to leave, leaving just Linda and Bryan behind in the room.
"Where do I go now?" he thought while outside the room.
Cole has no other place he usually stays while in the slums except his room.
