Chapter 1 - lost, Discover, Awakened

"So you're meaning to tell me. I died to a heart attack… IN. MY SLEEP!? That's so stupid! What the hell!?" I yell in anger and in shock. Rising to my feet from the cold winter snow in a old wooden hut.

My name is Jigoku Kazan. Meaning Hell Volcano. This was due to my parents living through a Volcano that erupted. I lived pretty much lived, what some would call, a normal life. I had a job, a house and kept in touch with my family, but the problem was I over worked. Many times. I stayed working until it was hours after my shift. Some called me greedy, some called me brave. I was neither. To me I was just struggling to survive in this world.

My family lived in poverty, so when I was old enough I made the decision to work harder than all my friends and family members to help sustain them and care for them. That seemed, however, to result in my death. "Crap! What about Maki, Choji and Pajang! How will they hear about my death if nobody heard or saw me!" I say in a panic as I walk around the small hut, my body ignoring the rising coldness that bit at my feet. I stop for moment to look outside. "Woah. It's…winter?" I awe in surpise. Eyes wider than bowl full of ramen. The snow, so pure and white, was pouring down like a rain storm. You probably couldn't even see what was ahead of you for miles upon miles of out stretched roads. Wait, were there any roads? It didn't seem like it. And this wooden hut? It looks like it was made in a hurry. Makes sense due to this weather, I thought calmly. "Where even am I?" I ask as my eyes look around. The hut to say the least, shabby. A broken door, bashed in window and even a dirty stained rug for a bed. "Poverty. Really? I have to go through that again?" I say walking over to a small corner of the hut where a small pair of nice clothes were layed stacked and neatly folded. "Dang, whoever folded these are better than my dead grandma." I muse with a whistle as I grab the pair of clothes and place them over my body, which happened to be naked. The clothes were mostly black. Black kimono, black bulky yet comfortable thin shoes. A blue Haori, a black Hakama and a white Obi. I put all these on, as well as tying up my long black-greyish hair. The whole attire was in fact, very comfortable. "Guess I should go outside now." I mutter softly, exciting the small hut and entering the fridged wind of the ice. The moment I stepped out it felt the chill and batting of snowflakes.

I walked for what seemed like hours upon hours of mindless wondering. Suddenly my foot got caught under a branch and I felt forward. I yelped as I face plated into the deep snow. I didn't make it half way through the snow as my face stopped just one third of the way down. I let out a muffled groan as I pulled myself up from the face imprint. "I'v never seen snow this deep before, weird." I mutter softly, standing back up onto the semi-hard snow. I looked around once more hoping to see at least a person through this dense, stormy fog.

I walked around for what felt like hours upon hours of endless wandering. Wishing I was back home, I decided to turn around and headed back. Which turned out to be a bad idea. Now I'm fully and utterly… lost. "Oh great. Guess I'll freeze to death." I mean I'v already died once, so what's the worst that can happen. "Yea, what's the worst that can happen!" I exclaim loudly.

The worst did happen. I found myself sitting under a tree shivering like a wet dog. My hands were numb including my feet. The snow had grown stronger than before and was pouring like it gonnna flood his entire surroundings. "T-this s-sucks!" I mutter in the freezing cold. I tried to hug the tree, but the wind made me almost immobilized. I could feel my arms and legs becoming numb. "Will I die again?" I thought. I raised my hand and clenched it. Can still move it. That's good. I pound on the tree in anger. "I got reincarnated into another world and yet I'm going to die! AGAIN!" I yell in trembling anger. Sudden a painful box fell onto on my head. "Ouch!" I exclaim rubbing my head vigorously. I glance at the box, but it turns out. It wasn't a box but a chest. I slowly make way over to the chest, leaving behind the tree's comforting body. "A chest? Out here in the middle of nowhere?" I ask myself, looking at the chest and rubbing my chin. "Who would put something of possible value out here?" I question aloud. I extend a slowly turning blue hand and open up the chest. There, shining at bright as the sun and radiating heat like a star, was a eight-handled wheel. It's glow was so bright yellow with a golden like gleam, it was as if heaven was playing nice. I picked up the wheel as saw my hands and arms returning normal. I gasped in joy I tightly wrapped my haori around my body, placing the wheel inside to keep me warm. I slowly then made my way back to the dead tree and plopped myself down. Closing in my legs to my chest and hugging myself. "My Savior. This wheel is my favorite thing right now in the whole wide world!" I mutter loudly as I feel heat and circulation return to my whole form. It was like I could melt or drinking hot coco next to a fire on a winter evening. It was heavily and divine along with greatness!

I sat next to the tree for most likely an hour. Watching the hard snow slowly but steadily clear away, letting me see other faraway trees in the distance. When the snow finally cleared, only leaving roads of snow in its wake, I stood up and started walking. My feet felt the crunches of snow, even though I had shoes they were soaked from my body heat. "This wheel, if I remember correctly, is called a Dharma wheel. The eight paths represent something, but I think they are mean to overcome some type of trial. Overcome and completing. That's what I had to too back then, guess this is my preference. Hard work gives better rewards, but that never filled up the loneliness. This time, however, I'll work hard but will do more than just work. I'll make friends and relationships." I vow with soft confidence.|CLANG| The sound enchoed loudly. It was between a bell, marching men and crunching of wood. The Dharma suddenly bursted out from my under my Haori and floated above my head. The warmth didn't disappear, but stayed! Like it was connected to me. "This must me some sort of relic or treasure? If so, then I have a large target on my head." I thought walking pass a small group of dead trees. There was nothing but endless snow and trees for miles upon miles of desert. I sighed, knowing my luck I'll run into a cave full of spiders.

After about what I assumed to be two hours I found I what could possibly only be a bar or inn. I slowly made my way over calmly, hoping for someone for hopefully be there. I opened the door just a crack before stopping. If people saw me with this treasure on, they'd surely kill me. I tried pulling it down. Not even a budge of movement. I pulled harder, nothing happened. I tried bang it against the wall, it just moved behind my head making my head slam into the wall. "Ow!" I yelp in pain, rubbing my head. I hear a loud crash and glass breaking next to me and I turn in that direction. A man wearing a black-bluish and cyan colored attire with a sword in his sheathe. "How dare you!" A womans's voice shouted in anger as they burst through the door next to me. Her hair was pure white and had the same attire but had a more feminine tone. Eyes were blue at the sky and ocean. A stark contrast to my deep, almost black eyes. I blink my eyes as they watch the disturbance before them. The woman picked up the man before her and slapped him in the face. "Next time tell your master to never disrespect me!" She yells as she stormed off back inside, slamming the door shut. I dart back and forth, fear and curiosity lighting up my eyes. I glance up at the Wheel, sighing as I figured it wouldn't be possible to hide it. So I entered the inn.

Opening the door and seeing the inside. I could that was ginormous! So many rooms within one small building. "From what I can see there are about… 400 rooms? Very interesting." I say looking around in awe. The tables we're furnished and smooth while the rest was plain wood planks. A man stood cleaning a cup behind a counter and waved a friendly hand at me. "Welcome dear customer! How may I serve you?" He asked me with a smile. The man looks to be in his mid twenties or early thirties. Quiet young, I thought studying his face as I walk over. Luckily I had money. Copper, Silver and gold coins. The copper one if memory serves me, was equivalent to about 100 dollars. Silver coins were equal to 10,000 coins. While gold coins were about 900,000 dollars. I found this information while changing on a piece of paper. "Could I stay here for a couple of days?" I ask kindly, the wheel above my head creaking softly. The young man before me nodded and tapped on a small paper. "That will be four copper coins. This includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is cheap due to the fact that I'm giving you a discount, mostly because you look lost and confused." The man says holding out his hand. I nod slowly as it made sense. In a snowy place like this, things don't come cheap. I rustle with my small pouch and take out four copper coins, adding one silver coin to be nice. The young man's eyes widen in joy and appreciation. Bowing his head deeply. "Thank you sir! Also you room is up there." He adds pointing to a room next to another with its door emanating cold, visible air. It happened to be on the second floor above the dinning hall. "Thank you." I reply, bowing my head back. The wheel floating around above my body but close enough to touch. I tug on the wheel, it doesn't budge. I groan softy in annoyance and head up to my room. Closing the door firmly and making sure nobody could enter. "Gahhh! Peice of crap! Get off of me!" I yell pulling on the wheel which stays firmly in place above me. I try throwing it, only to throw myself into the wall and onto the bed. "Argh! Why won't you come down!" I ask loudly as I moving around the spcaous room violently trying to take down the wheel.

After a few minutes go by of failures, I lay on the bed. Angry and annoyed. The heat within my body wasn't leaving and my body started to grow hotter. And hotter, then scolding hot. It hurt to touch myself and my skin start to envelop in flames. I jump off my bed as I try to put them out, but to no avail. Screaming didn't work, my vocals were gone. Am I going to die? In this gosh awful way?! Burnt to death? No!? I wasn't going to die! Not yet! These flames won't kill me! I'll kill them! This seems like a world where cultivation exists! So if I try that then maybe I'll succeed! I criss-cross my legs and sit on the floor. The hot burying flames destroying my shoulders and body, peeling off my face slowly. I began to breath in and out the air. Circulating the life energy within the air in which I could feel around, then I started to convert the flames into a circle within my chest. Breathing in the flames themselves to convert into a supply of energy. The wheel turned again and made its loud sound. The sound of overcoming a trial. The wheel turned bright yellow and caught on fire, but no smoke or ash rose. Not even a smell was in the air. It was a silent flame. My body started to reconstruct, bones grew faster than normal, muscles grew and contorted, my brain grew in size and my torso become lean and almost flat with muscles. The clothes which were now gone had started to reappear. Piecing the atoms together to remake the clothes. Some lost their original color turning to white. The black clothes stayed the same but the others turned white. The core was almost done. "Come on! Don't fail me now! I'v got to do this!" I thought as boiling tears dripped down my cheeks. The Wheel once more, spun again. Everything suddenly become easier and better to do. The core was one third of way done, he just needed more energy and time! But just then and out of the blue, his flame energy ran out and the core started to dissipate. "No! No! No! This won't happen!" I thought loudly! What could he use now? The flames were gone and he no more flaming energy like he did once more. There was nothing left. "Wait? Nothing? There's always something!" If he used gravity as means of energy than he could use it! The pressure that came upon him weighed 12tons. And his body started to break down, but he could handle it! He WILL handle it! If he could only grasp it! Then within a blink of an eye, darkness appear within the core and mixed within the fiery flames turning them black. Cracks began to for on his body and started to tear off the recontructed skin. "Just a little more!" I begged, determined to succeed! The wheel turned again, making things more easier and efficient. The dark, negative energy of the gravity created a blackwhole that supplied very abyssal energy into his core! Filling it up completely along with the flames. Two cores were created. Bright, close to yellow flames while the other was pure swirling yet unstable darkness.

I lay on the ground, utterly exhausted. I take off my top clothing and look at a mirror on the wall. I was buff? Odd, I never worked out in my entire life. Just trying to cultivate was hard enough and this is what it did to me? Even the wheel is on fire with its middle being completely pitch black. "So I truely am inside a new world. This sucks." I muttered in annoyance, caressing my long hair back to se my eyes. They were the same old color. Deep brown, almost abyssal with no other color in site. "This is really odd. I don't mind it, but like to have super powers is like giving a child a knife without telling them how to use it." I say aloud. I then look outside and saw that it was dark again. The snowy blizzard had returned once more.

"I need a knew identity. Can't stay being Jigoku Kazan. Maybe I could just change my first name. That being Kazan Dharma. I could concoct any story I want, but for now. Let's stick to Kazan Dharma." I say thoughtly, leaning against the window. To be honest, I've never felt anything like this before. It was refreshing to say the least. It was awesome to think that stuff like this even existed, but it also terrifies me. "People could do horrible things even with the lowest of power." I mutter quietly. I suddenly hear a knock at my door, quick and steady yet strong. I put on my Haori, which was now white, and tightly wrap it around my body. I creak open the door to see who's outside. "Yes?" I ask in a inquiring manner, my eyes darting along the sides. Standing at my door way was the same white haired woman, but this time she had two guards standing behind her. "Hello, sir. Could we enter for a brief moment?" She asked politely, smiling. My eyes studyied her keenly. She was young, around the same age as himself. Possibly between 20 and 30. Young like me. "May I ask why?" I ask in a question. The woman frowned then grinned. "I'd like to talk to you about something." She stats placing a hand on the door. I thought for a moment, what could she want with me? But seeing what happened to the last guy, I didn't want to get on her bad side. "Sure, come in." I reply reluctantly, opening the door fully. The three walked inside, the woman sitting down on my chair that was next to my bed along side a desk. "Very cozy and comfortable, right?" The woman asked me as I sat on my bed. I nod in agreement and cross my arms tightly. "Very much so. It's like a gift sent to me by the heavens." I reply, hoping words like these would help. The woman nodded in agreement, man-spreading her legs and leaning far back into my chair. "Yes. It would seem so. The heavens must have grated you great luck." She said to me with a seducing smile that sent shivers down my spine. Then her face became serious and cold. "My name is Yuki Joō. The Ice princess of this baran land. I have a request of you." Yuki stated looking up at the Wheel and awing at it. "I need you to hand over that Relic or come with us to the city and get proper training for its use." Yuki firmly held my eyes and stared deep into my soul. What?! Give up my Wheel? I could never do that. It's saved my life and helped me. "This relic. For what purpose do you need it?" I ask calmly, trying not show my rising nervousness. Yuki seemed to except such a question and quickly answered me. "It's because I need it to boost my Qi energy and mana potential." Yuki bluntly stated.

She needed it? Why? Couldn't have just trained herself to achieve greater heights? I did that and became the most well payed person within the company I work in. Even my own boss wanted me to come the next CEO. But you're telling me this girl can't even try to work harder to achieve her own goals?

My thoughts almost clouded my judgement. I wasn't going to give this up, for I need this relic now. While it doesn't give me any power boosts, it helps eases things when I overcome them. Like adapting. It's rewarding me for my determination. "I'm sorry. Im afraid I can't give this treasure up. Do you happen to know what it does?" I ask kindly. Yuki barks out laughing and slaps her knee. "Ahahahahahah! You're so funny! I never said you can choice. Guards, knock him out." Yuki snapped her fingers and one of the ninja-like guards dashed forward and tried to press my pressure points and vital points. My body moved on sudden and surprising instinct, my hand becoming like a blade and swiping the air. I missed by a long shot. The guard sidestepped and within two seconds my consciousness was fading. Then suddenly. |Chtrang| The Wheel spun once more. My hand swiped again and caught the edge of the guards neck. The guard just barely blocked it as he stumbled to a stop. "He's strong for a first stage." The guard said wiping his hand. Yuki groaned and raised her hand. "I'll deal with this." Suddenly I was frozen and cased in a wall of thick ice. The Wheel shined bright yellow but didn't turn. I was now stuck with no way out. I had been defeated, not that I had any chance in the first place.

"So what now, boss?" The other guard asked curiously turning as he looks at his master. Yuki tilted her head and pondered for a momment before answering. "I mean. We could kill him, but I despise taking innocent lives. Would father mind that we brought him back. I need a friend who can come with me to the academy. I can always get rid of him when I'm done attending." Yuki suggested as she glances in my direction with a cunning smirk. "For now, let's wait until morning when the blizzard is gone and we can travel by day." Yuki stated calmly with a yawn.

When the guards left and went into the other room, Yuki freed me from my ice-like tomb. "There. Happy? I know you heard very thing." Yuki said looking at me. I stood there in shock and fear. I was being used as a weapon, a friend and then being tossed aside. "All those things I said. It won't happen. I plan to keep you alive, those words were to keep my fathers guards at bay." Yuki says as she slips off her garments and clothes, revealing a pair of large melons and something not even my eyes could forget, so I looked away. Yuki giggled and touched my back with her cold hands, sending massive tremors in my body. "Feeling weird, Friend? Is your freind down there doing okay?" Yuki asked reaching around and feeling something long, heavy and warm from under my pants. I zip across the room away from Yuki. "D-don't touch me like that! That's not appropriate for a lady of your stature!" I exclaim in embarrassment. Yuki giggled innocently, putting on a small thin strap over her upper body to cover her large melons. "I can do whatever I'd like as a princess. Even my mother did the same before becoming married to my father. Although she was more of a whore than a real queen. Come on. Let's go to sleep." Yuki muses as she waves a hand, gesturing for me to lay on the bed with her. To which i reluctantly obeyed not wanting to be frozen again.

Yuki and I slept opposite from each other as the bed was surprisingly big for two people. I layed on my back while Yuki on her side facing away from me. "Sorry for what I did earlier. It was very shameful of me." Yuki said in a apologetic tone, glancing at me. I glance back at her and grin. "I forgive you. At least you admitted it, right?" I reply back calmly. Yuki stares at me for several seconds then looks away. "I'v dated many men before. None were able to satisfy me or relate to me in anyway. They were either to lazy, to egotistical or just so bad I couldn't stand them. My sister were able to get married and live elsewhere away from this hellhole. While I had to stay and work my butt off." Yuki stated turning onto her back and staring up at the ceciling. I look up at the ceciling with wonder.

I also had bad dating experiences. They were either out for money, Lacey or so self entitled they thought they could rule over me. Those types never worked out. "I also had the same troubles." I say softly. Yuki looked at me in surpise. "Really?" She awed. "Yes." I answered. Suddenly Yuki jumped onto me and hugged me, crying.
