In an abandoned company building, several people lie on the ground bearing various marks of blows and blade wounds.
It was clear they had recently been beaten by the masked man standing before them.
"You know I would have been more than enough—" Charl paused to light his cigarette before continuing, "to handle their case, right? I also find the idea of wearing a mask unnecessary," he said while exhaling smoke.
Jin didn't respond to his subordinate. Perhaps because he was fighting non-sorcerers; he drew no satisfaction from it, and it affected his mood.
He simply sheathed his trusty Chunchunmaru and crouched beside the nearest thug.
"Tell me, are you interested in making a lot of money?" he asked while lifting the man's chin toward him.
The young man gritted his teeth at Jin but swallowed his rage after noticing a slight frown from him.
He nodded painfully at his aggressor's question.
"Excellent, then listen carefully to my instructions," he said in an indifferent tone to the delinquent.
Charl's plan was simple, but extremely ingenious overall.
First, they needed to subjugate the high school delinquents within the city of Sendai.
Once that task was accomplished, those delinquents would have to bring Jin money from the contributions within their respective schools.
The protection fee wouldn't be fixed, but would depend on the number of students per high school, and each would have to give the delinquents 500 yen per week.
Indeed, the amount may seem trivial. After all, it equates to 2 euros and 70 cents.
However, an average Japanese high school has 300 to 600 students. Charl stated that the city of Sendai has 4 public high schools.
Thus, the money the delinquents must pay Jin amounts to around one million yen, or about 5,500 euros per week.
In one month, Sendai's delinquents owe him 22,000 euros.
"B-but… the teachers might notice our activities," the young man stammered after hearing Jin's words.
In response, Jin simply sketched a "kind" smile toward him.
"Do you really think teachers care about 500 yen? And besides…" Jin paused as his cursed energy suppressed the delinquents as a whole.
"If you obey me nicely, you'll be able to enjoy huge benefits like this one," he said while materializing a large package containing powder and green pills.
Upon seeing the package and the money, the fearful young man temporarily forgot Jin's presence and focused on it.
Such a spectacle disgusted him, but reaffirmed the feasibility of Charl's plan.
'I don't like this, but these kids are already irredeemable,' he thought while observing the high schoolers addicted to illicit substances.
Charl doesn't target just any high schooler when recruiting them to work for Jin.
He seeks those enslaved by various impulses.
A delinquent addicted to women? Very well, we have plenty to give! You like gambling? Very well, there's plenty in our organization! You like money? Bring us the contribution, you'll get your share.
"N-we'll do our best, boss!!" the young man declared while eagerly picking up the package from the ground.
Jin extended his hand toward the skeptical friends of the delinquent, then used Reverse Cursed Technique without hesitation.
Normally, it's harder to heal others than oneself, but Jin judged it profitable given the situation.
And indeed, his judgment was not wrong.
"What? I-I don't hurt anymore?" muttered a young man with dyed blond hair.
"A miracle?" another whispered while looking at his formerly broken arm.
"How is this possible?" another doubted while trying to remain rational in the face of the absurdity of the situation.
Several murmurs spread through the crowd of teenagers as their gazes turned toward the source of the pleasant sensation.
Jin's silhouette appeared like a beacon in their eyes after they realized the origin of the power that had healed them.
"Work hard under my orders, and these things," Jin paused for a short moment without hiding his contempt toward the thug holding the drugs like treasure, "will only be the beginning."
He raised a hand in the air before roaring: "So, long live the Twilight Guild!!"
There was silence for a short moment.
However, a small voice rose from the back of the group.
"Long live the Supreme Guide!!" another frail teenager roared in turn, looking at Jin with undisguised fanaticism.

The young man's act immediately created a domino effect, filling the place with roars of glory toward Jin.
"Long live the guild!!!"
"Long live the guild!!!"
Watching this spectacle, Charl approached Jin to stand beside him.
"Should I also start the sorting here?" he asked, referring to those who needed to learn to use their soul in combat.
The power of the soul couldn't be entrusted to just anyone, according to Charl.
Jin agreed with him.
It would be too dangerous for just anyone to possess a supernatural power from Tsubaki or the causal market.
Jin had to sort!
Thus, he nodded toward Charl.
The man had formed the group of 10 geniuses thanks to his understanding of the human mind.
Jin trusted him to find people worthy of learning under Tsubaki, but also capable of buying a weapon worthy of the name from the causal market.
After all, it would be stupid to use his money to reward a person under his orders.
Not to mention that he plans to put these people under control thanks to the Konosuba slave collar.
Everything is under control thanks to Charl and his power.
"Has Tsubaki finished on her side?" he asked after a short moment.
Charl opened his phone to confirm that Tsubaki had finished her part and nodded toward Jin.
'Excellent. Today Sendai and tomorrow… Japan or more,' he thought while clenching his fists.
The flame of ambition began to burn within him.
…
Time passed quickly.
Soon, Jin will have spent 2 years in the Jujutsu Kaisen world. During this period, the Twilight Guild expanded beyond the borders of Sendai city.
It encountered no real wall in its expansion except random delinquents. However, those were quickly put in their place by Charl Choi's "students."
Beyond this unpredictable aspect for Charl, the guild avoided developing in a truly illegal sector.
Charl recruited no adults nor created shady companies.
He needed individuals lacking real ambition in life, and delinquents perfectly filled that role.
As for the police, they don't suspect that the random high school extortion money serves a much larger purpose.
The same went for the yakuza, who don't suspect that a foreign force is slowly spreading across their territory.
There were no real fights except those between high schoolers, who fought to increase their school's zone of influence.
An inevitable situation, because the money beyond the contribution belonged to them and could be exchanged for various benefits from Charl.
The only limit Jin had ordered them when collecting: no money from illegal sources.
"P-Papa…" Yuji stammered while tugging on Jin's sleeve.
Perhaps because of his special physique, Yuji was a very precocious boy.
He had learned to speak a little before one year old, but also to walk on his own.
Now, at one year old, he could express his intentions.
A little prodigy.
"No, that ride is too dangerous for you," Jin reprimanded while picking him up in his arms.
"This little devil knows exactly what he wants, a bit like his father~," Kenjaku declared while clinging to Jin's arm.
The sudden act surprised him, but he quickly relaxed under the warmth of his wife's body.
'There's no denying it, having… slaves koff… I mean subordinates earning money in my place is great—' Jin didn't finish that train of thought before his shoulder bumped into something.
Because of Tsubaki's absence, Jin could only rely on cursed energy to detect a target in his detection zone.
He was very proud of his sensitivity to cursed energy and its residues. That's why he instinctively frowned.
He hadn't noticed this man.
"Oh, excuse my husband… h-he's a very discreet man," a short-haired woman quickly said after the physical interaction.

Jin wanted to say it was nothing, but his face twisted in surprise after seeing the man carrying a little boy.
"Toji…" he let slip.
"… Who are you? Do we know each other?" Toji replied with genuine confusion.
Because of all Jin's actions, there has been a huge unforeseen butterfly effect.
The ghost of the Zenin clan still had his reason to live, when he was supposed to die shortly after Megumi's birth.
In other words, Jin is screwed.
The canon is broken.
