"Would you look at that? I have never seen that kind of attire, and that female looks absolutely dazzling. She doesn't smell like our kind, but she could definitely rival the females in our tribe," a beastman behind the arrogant beastman's stall muttered.
He rearranged sacks of mineral salt, his eyes darting over to sneak glances at me while he worked.
"Wah, she doesn't carry the scent of a land dwelling beastman either. That serpent beast standing beside her must be her mate; he carries such overwhelming power, you can feel it from far away," his companion beside the salt stacks muttered back, equally distracted by our group.
The beastman manning the stall's trade counter snapped at them sharply, his tone full of haughty impatience as he haggled with a passing goat merchant.
"You two fools, quit gawking and pass me the block of salt at once! Inspect these trade goods before we lose a fair bargain. Move quickly!"
