Aqua had put the pen in the side pocket of her school bag and a part of her room was visible. Theodore and Anna sat up at 5:00 am to start their investigation of Aqua, only to find her already awake. Theodore burst out laughing when he saw Aqua wrapped in a series of blankets, trying to hold a book with her hands still inside the blanket but the book kept slipping away from her thickly layered hands. she decided to face the morning breeze and with a determined expression opened the window with unnecessary grandeur, amusing the viewers. Aqua then left the room, after five minutes she returned with an ice cube in her hands, the two viewers were anticipating for her to eat the ice cube, they assumed she would recharge her ice powers by eating ice, however she iced her face using the ice cube. Anna noted this as an important beauty secret.
Aqua then read a bit more and did a few more random things as Theodore brushed his teeth and Anna cooked breakfast. Though she was an empress, she still didn't want to leave all the work to subordinates. She would do the cooking and the maintenance of the palace was the duty of subordinates. She woke up Vincent, as for Alex, he was at pearl sectors oversleeping in peace. Vincent glanced at the pen cam screen too and was immediately bewitched by the two adorable animals that were rustling around on Aqua's bed. Though boys don't admit it, they have a soft spot for adorable things kinda like the girls, they actually do, at least a little bit.
Aqua then teased the two creatures to be a brass band of noise. Vincent gave a murderous glare and asked if he could go behead this merciless woman at once. Anna glared back at him, saying she is necessary for his brother's treatment.
After school, Aqua changed into the elegant uniform of the representatives of Wales, a white knee-length dress with wide sleeves and cuts at the shoulders paired with white boots and the regular gear of strap gloves and a sheathed dagger in a leather strap at the thigh. No escort had come for Aqua, so she simply took the terrace route but this time however she activated the invisibility feature on the uniform and so made it to the gates of the palace in 20mins. The guards didn't allow her into the palace so she just stood at the gate. She stood there for about two hours while sorting out the fresh information Sir Aaron had sent to her about her territory when the Empress saw her and asked her to come in. Aqua was quiet and just followed the lady to the reception room. The empress along with the emperor entered shortly after.
"What would the princess of Wales like from us today"
he asked trying to not make his emotions apparent.
"Can we have permission to check the yesterday's cctv footage of the lasso district?"
Aqua asked directly.
"Sure but why the sudden interest in lasso district?"
Asked Theodore.
"A party involved in the incident from nine years ago is still out there and our expertise traced their presence in lasso district, yesterday at 17:43 so we would like to see if we can get any information abt thier whereabouts from the footage"
Aqua replied, emotionlessly.
"What info about their whereabouts can you get from a footage?"
Theodore aksed menacingly.
"The vehicle no. Perhaps, through which they arrived at the scene, the appearance of the people who came out the vehicle, the things they were carrying etc.. can help us find relevant details about their whereabouts, giving us a range of possible locations and we would personally go check them out"
Aqua replied nonchalantly.
Theodore reluctantly agreed and told her to visit the Blackcrow and get a permit there,
"just show them the pen I gave you"
He said.
"Looks like the prince didn't tell you that I wanted to have audience with you"
Aqua said coldly as she left the room. Theodore chuckled
"This little one has seriously changed a lot"
he said as summoned his sons.
Aqua leapt a few buildings away from the palace and at a place she felt was a safe distance, she collapsed, letting her legs give away. Her heart was thumping from fear and anxiety. She leant against the wall there and tried to calm herself down. She had been worried about talking to Theodore since the moment her father assigned her the task, she was never good at talking with people of higher status, only Allah knows best how fervently she prayed for everything to go well and for fluency in her speech. The sudden loss in tension was too much for her senses, as a result she succumbed to her weakness and rested against the wall.
Alex had got his father's message and was heading there through the terraces when he felt a familiar presence, the aura which Snow gave off. He looked around but couldn't see anyone, he closed his eyes and focused his senses on finding the exact location and sure enough he felt the heat of a human body he immediately tried to find a reverse mechanism for the invisibility and accidentally touched somewhere he should not have touched, the delicate and soft flesh of women gave a shiver down his spine.
He immediately recoiled
"Just what did I touch?"
He whispered in terror and was blank for a while. He then got up and without thinking twice fled for his honor once again not daring to turn around to see the aftermath.
The sleeping beauty had just woken up because of the noise, oblivious of what had happened and felt refreshed as she headed home with a light heart.
