The safe house became a war room.
Rohan pulled up everything they had on Karan Khurana. His finances. His communications. His movements. His weaknesses.
Aarohi studied the data for hours. Kabir stood behind her, his hand on her shoulder, his eyes scanning the screens.
"Karan is arrogant," Rohan said. "He thinks he is untouchable. He takes risks. He meets with his contacts in person instead of using intermediaries."
"Where does he meet them?" Aarohi asked.
Rohan pulled up a map. "There is a private club in South Mumbai. The Royal Orchid. Members only. Invitation required. Karan goes there three times a week."
"Can we get inside?"
"Not without an invitation."
Kabir spoke. "I have an invitation. The Royal Orchid is where I do most of my business deals. The owners owe me favors."
Aarohi turned to look at him. "You can get us in?"
"I can get you in. I am too recognizable. But you can go as my representative." He pulled out his phone. "I will make some calls."
Rohan continued. "Once you are inside, you need to get close to Karan. Find out who he is meeting with. What they are discussing. Record everything."
Aarohi nodded. "And then?"
"Then we use the information to destroy him. Not with a bullet. With the truth." Rohan's voice was hard. "We expose him to the Chairman. We prove that he is planning a coup. The Chairman will eliminate him for us."
Aarohi looked at Kabir.
"It could work," she said.
"It will work." He squeezed her shoulder. "You are going to walk into that club, and you are going to destroy Karan Khurana without ever touching him."
She smiled. It was a cold smile. The smile of The Architect.
"Let us get to work."
