The recording was three hours long.
Aarohi sat in the safe house with Rohan and Kabir, listening to Khanna's confession. He named names. He gave dates. He described operations that made her stomach turn.
The hospital bombing had been Vikram's idea, but Khanna had executed it. The guards who died had been his men. The patients who almost died had been collateral damage.
Kabir's hands were fists. His face was stone.
"He killed my mother," Kabir said. "Vikram ordered it. But Khanna arranged it. He found the men. He paid them. He covered it up."
Aarohi reached for his hand.
"He will pay," she said. "They will all pay."
She looked at Rohan.
"Send the recording to the Chairman. Anonymous. Untraceable. Let him know that Karan delivered Khanna. Let him know that Karan is planning a coup."
Rohan nodded. "And then?"
"Then we wait."
