Kelsey smiled at the thought of leading a group of god-level warriors and could already imagine the shocked expressions on the faces of the High Gods in the upper realm.
"So, will you help me? I'll even allow you to take Emmeline as your apprentice."
Ian laughed softly. "If that's all, I'd be happy to help. But you should know that every Eternal has their own thoughts about their path of cultivation. Their instincts guide them toward the choices that will maximize their potential. I know this from experience."
"My friends and I never heard such instincts. Maybe our quality is inferior to that of the previous generation?"
"Perhaps," Ian replied. "Still, I doubt my guidance will be necessary. But if the need arises, I will share the insights I have gained."
