At the city gates, Rin and the others gathered to see them off.
"Nina, you must be extremely careful on your journey to the Serpent City. Grandfather wishes you the absolute best," Rin said.
The Serpent City was too far away. He had to stay behind and take care of his own female master, so he couldn't go with them to help. She had only him as her beast husband, and even though the city had plenty of servants and guards, he still couldn't bring himself to leave her here alone.
"Mm, thank you, Grandfather Rin," Nina replied.
Yuna took Nina's hand, reluctant to say goodbye. "Nina, I've heard that that city is a very dangerous place. You must be careful. Once your business is done, please come back here to visit me whenever you have time."
"I will. You take good care of yourself, too," Nina said.
"Mm." Yuna gave Nina a warm hug.
Maya and the other females stepped forward as well.
"We feel the same way. We look forward to your next visit to our city."
