Shiba turned to Feyra, making sure she wouldn't get stuck on any roots. The path was just a forest path, one that had been created by people coming and going. It wasn't an official path and the wilderness was still taking over here.
Feyra looked to the sides, seeing the various plants and leaves rustle with the wind. They started to turn colour, showing that autumn was coming, slowly but surely.
She also saw mushrooms on the ground, however, this time she held back and didn't pick them up. She knew they already got delayed thanks to what had happened in that cave.
Huo Cheng led the way, turning around corners at times and warning Shiba and Feyra about roots on the ground.
It only took them a few hours to get down from the mountain and see the large street that was not far away.
"That's the trading route. The inn is over there. We should get there and call it a day," Huo Cheng said, starting to walk towards the building in the distance.
