"Permission to enter Sir" Mu Xiu said in a loud voice
"Permission granted" her superior replied from inside, Mu Xiu entered the office
"Sir " she said giving him a salute
"Commander Mu after pondering about your decision to transfer, the higher ups has decided to transfer you to you the presidential Villa as the president's security aide for a while" he informed leaving Mu Xiu stunned
"Why there" she scolded in her mind
"Was he the one that ordered it" she thought
"Mu Xiu you are thinking too highly of yourself the president is beyond your reach" she scolded again in her mind
"Commander Mu do you have any objections" her superior asked snapping her from her thoughts
"No objections Sir" she replied firmly
"Then you will have to report to duty tomorrow, a car will come to pick you up tomorrow morning by 8:00am" he informed, Mu Xiu was stunned but she still replied in agreement "Yes Sir"
"Okay then you can leave" he said. The superior watched as Mu Xiu left the office, he was also surprised when he heard the orders but he didn't dare to disobey but he had a feeling that the president had taken interest in their Commander. After leaving the office, she went in search of her team who were sad to know that they won't be going on missions together again at least not anytime soon. Mu Xiu spent the rest the day with them, when she got home it was already nightfall her whole family was sitted in the living room with a worried expression
"Mom, dad I'm home" she announced walking to them
"Xiu where did you go to and why couldn't we reach you" Ling Rui asked in one breath
"Where did you go to because your second brother said that you didn't deliver his food to him" Mu Linfeng questioned sternly
"I was about to deliver second brother's food when I got a call to report to base, after the meeting I spent the rest of the day with my team so I lost track of time. I'm sorry I made you all worry" she explained in a low voice calming down the Mu's
"Xiu it's not that we're restricting your freedom, we know that you're an adult but as your parents and family we can't help but worry" Ling Rui said
"Mom, Dad I know that you care for me that's why you worry" Mu Xiu said standing between her Mom and Dad with an understanding smile, Mu Linfeng patted her head. He knew that he didn't know how to express himself sometimes but he was glad that his daughter now understood him
"Hey Mu Xiu you still have to compensate me" Mu Feng said
"Second brother it's my fault so you can ask anything" Mu Xiu replied, Mu Feng immediately felt good
"So why did they call you to base, is it something you would want to share with us" Mu Ling asked
"Oh yes there is, they told me that I've been transferred to the presidential Villa as the president's security aide for a while and I will be starting tomorrow by 8:00am" she said, Mu Linfeng and Mu Ling gave each other a tacit look
"This is good news, finally you can stop going on these dangerous missions" Ling Rui said with a relief in her heart
"Mom I'm going to my room, I have a long day ahead of me" Mu Xiu said, then she gave her mother a good night kiss on her cheeks
"Good night Dad" she added them she walked upstairs
"Xiu aren't you hungry" Ling Rui asked, Mu Xiu immediately froze then she slowly turned around and replied
"I ate second brother's lunch box" then she dashed to her room. The whole family looked at Mu Feng whose faces was dark, they could hardly control their laughter
"Don't worry I will be sure to make your favourite for you tomorrow" Ling Rui coaxed her second son
"Thanks Mom, I will be going to my room I have a lot of scenes to shoot tomorrow" Mu Feng said feeling very happy
