"Miss Mu" he called startling her
"Sir are you done with your meeting" she asked
"Yes I have, come sit beside me" he said gesturing to the empty space beside him
"Sir how can I dare to sit so close to you" she replied shaking her head in disapproval
"But I'm telling you to sit with me and not with the president " he says, although she didn't want to sit but her body wasn't listening to her mind so she sat down.
"What's the matter? You look like you're missing someone" He asked
"I miss my mom, dad and also my brothers" she replied in a low voice
"Five years ago you were at the edge of a cliff, I'm glad that you've finally found the people who truly love and care for you" he said
"You... How come you.." she said stuttering
"You thought that I would have forgotten you" he asked interrupting her
"Yes" she said nodding her head
"What happened was something a person couldn't forget easily" he said chuckling. He stared at her in a daze as if he was rekindling the past
"I never had the chance to thank you properly for helping me also your words brought me back to my senses" she said with a smile and her eyes shine brightly, Pei Qianhao was stunned by her smile it made her look more charming
"If you really want to thank me then buy me a gift" he said

"Fine I will give it to you when it's ready" she said
"I'm giving you a day off so that you can spend it with your family, so you don't have to come to work tomorrow" he said

"It's my mom, she's always worried about my safety when I go on missions and it is taking a toil on her health. "If your mom was so so worried about your safety why did she allow you to join the military" he asked again
"Hmmm my mom objected to it strongly not just her even my brothers too only my father understood me and supported me so he was the one convinced my brothers and together we convinced my mom" she said with a sigh
