Chapter 93 - Chapter 93: Bulma is Stunned!

"Yay! Awesome!"

The moment she heard they were going to eat something delicious, Little Liya, the little foodie, practically jumped for joy.

"Alright then, let's go."

Qin Yan watched this scene with a helpless shake of his head, though he didn't refuse her.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's head out right now!"

Perhaps Bulma was equally enthusiastic about food and shopping, because as soon as she saw everyone was in agreement, she hurried them to get a move on.

"Good, let's go!"

"Heehee! Let's go, let's go get a big feast!"

The little girl was incredibly excited. The moment the word 'fun' was mentioned, she ran straight to the front, seemingly unable to wait another second.

And so, led by Bulma, the trio set out on the roads of West City in search of gourmet food.

What they didn't know was that this excursion would give birth to an exaggerated legend. It would circulate throughout the entire dining industry of West City for years to come: the story of three young children who swept through every gourmet shop in the city in a frenzy.

They had worked the head chefs of several luxury restaurants into an exhausted stupor. A few establishments were even forced to close for three days because their primary chefs had collapsed, and the owners had to politely ask the trio to leave.

Among them were several buffet restaurants where the three had nearly eaten the businesses into bankruptcy. Fortunately, they left after feeling only 'seventy-percent full.' From that day on, many restaurants in West City refused to offer buffet-style promotions or discounts.

By now, Bulma had led Qin Yan and Liya to an incredibly luxurious, high-end restaurant. After Bulma introduced herself, the restaurant manager immediately arranged for them to sit in the most prestigious VIP private room.

"Order whatever you want!"

Bulma waved her hand, signaling the waitress to hand the menus to the others. As the host, she told Qin Yan and his companion to order freely.

"Then we won't stand on ceremony."

Hearing Bulma's words, Qin Yan knew exactly how massive this little rich girl's capital was, so he didn't hold back.

"Mm-hmm, go ahead and order!"

Bulma nodded proudly with an indifferent expression. In her eyes, Qin Yan and Liya were just children; surely they couldn't order much. Besides, even if she had to buy out the entire restaurant, it would be a drop in the bucket for her, so she didn't give it a second thought.

However, Qin Yan and Liya's next moves left her completely shell-shocked.

"Let's start with twenty portions of roasted suckling pig," Qin Yan said calmly as he began to order.

Pfft!

The moment he finished, Bulma sprayed out the water she had just sipped. She looked at Qin Yan with a face full of disbelief and blurted out, "Twenty portions of suckling pig? Can you two even finish that?"

"We can finish it!" Little Liya interjected before Qin Yan could even speak.

"Honored guests, a friendly reminder," the waitress said, also stunned by Qin Yan's behavior. Thinking they were just naive children, she felt the need to caution them. "Once the order is placed and the food is served, you must pay the full price regardless of whether you finish it or not. Please order reasonably!"

"No problem!"

Qin Yan merely offered a slight smile and a definitive answer. "Just bring it out! I will take responsibility for all the consequences."

Bulma didn't say anything more. For some reason, she felt a strange sense of confidence in Qin Yan, so she simply told the waitresses to do as they were told.

"Very well."

Since the heiress of Capsule Corporation had spoken, the waitress had no choice but to comply.

"And..." Qin Yan continued to order.

"What? There's more?" Bulma and the waitress were once again struck dumb. There was actually more.

Qin Yan nodded and continued, "Twenty roasted whole sheep as well!"

"Twenty kilograms of beef!"

"Actually, forget it. Aside from the heavy dishes I just mentioned, just bring ten portions of every other signature dish on the menu. For the side dishes, three portions of each will suffice."

Qin Yan didn't feel like ordering one by one, so he simply told them to bring out the entire menu. After that, he handed the menu back to the waitress.

By this point, Bulma and the waitress were frozen in place, utterly stunned.

"Waitress! Waitress! Can you hear me?"

"Ah... oh, yes... I'm here... okay!"

Under Qin Yan's repeated calls, the dazed waitress finally snapped back to reality. She nodded woodenly and answered him.

"Well then, hurry up and serve the food!"

Coming back to her senses, Bulma saw that Qin Yan was done ordering and urged the waitress to get the kitchen moving.

Hearing this, the waitress retreated to the kitchen to relay the orders.

After a short wait, the staff began bringing out trays of fragrant, delicious food to the table. In no time, the entire table was covered in a lavish spread of meats and vegetablesa dazzling, countless array of delicacies.

Liya's eyes practically sparkled at the sight of the gourmet dishes, and drool began to escape the corners of her mouth uncontrollably.

"Can you guys really finish all this?" Bulma couldn't help but ask with a hint of doubt as she looked at the mountain of food. This level of appetite was alarming, and she worried they might have bitten off more than they could chew.

However, Qin Yan only smiled without a word. Their subsequent actions showed Bulma what a true foodie looked like and immediately dispelled all her concerns.

Qin Yan looked at Liya, who was already bursting with anticipation, and gave her the signal to start.

The little girl grabbed a succulent roasted suckling pig and opened her mouth wide to tear into it. Within momentsin just three bitesLiya had polished off the entire pig. This display left Bulma staring in shock.

Qin Yan laughed and said nothing, looking at the delicacies on the table before picking up a roasted whole sheep and devouring it with gusto.

Bulma sat there, staring blankly as the two of them feasted like lunatics. She was so distracted that she even forgot to eat herself.

Clatter, bang, thud!

Soon, the sound of clicking chopsticks and clinking plates rang out as frequently as firecrackers, never ceasing. Due to the terrifying speed at which Qin Yan and Liya ate, the food on the platters disappeared one by one. The empty plates on the table slowly began to stack higher and higher. The waitresses were running back and forth, busier than they had ever been in their lives.

Two and a half hours later, the stack of empty plates on their table was as high as a small hill.

"What exactly are your stomachs made of?!"

Bulma watched Qin Yan and Liya gorge themselves and was left speechless. Her eyes were wide with shock, and she looked at the two of them as if they were monsters. It was as if they were the reincarnations of starving ghosts.

"Wu-wu... are you... not eating... any?" Qin Yan asked through a mouthful of food, looking at the stunned Bulma. He was confused as to why she wasn't eating.

"Just watching you two eat has made me feel full," Bulma said woodenly.

"Bring another ten portions of roasted lamb legs!"

"Give me two bowls of noodles with soybean paste!"

Qin Yan nodded, ignoring her comments as he held out an empty plate and shouted for the waitress.

However, the restaurant manager walked up cautiously at that moment. "I am very sorry, honored guests, but we have already used up all the ingredients we had in stock. If you aren't full yet, perhaps you should... see if another restaurant can accommodate you?"

Cold sweat beaded on the manager's forehead. He felt embarrassed, even humiliated. He had never seen someone eat an entire restaurant out of stock. How was his establishment supposed to save face in the dining industry after this?

"Such a large restaurant, and you ran out of food so quickly?" Qin Yan's face darkened, clearly displeased. However, seeing the manager's distress, he could only let it go. He waved a hand and said, "Forget it, forget it. You're in the catering business, yet you didn't even prepare enough ingredients!"

"Yes, yes, we will certainly be better prepared next time."

Hearing Qin Yan's words, the restaurant manager felt even more ashamed. He wished he could find a hole to crawl into.

"Are you still not full?" Bulma asked, her voice full of wonder.

"I'm probably about three-tenths full. What about you, Liya?"

"Mm-hmm, me too."

Thud!

Upon hearing Qin Yan and Liya's earth-shattering words, Bulma and the surrounding waitresses practically collapsed onto the floor in shock. They truly hadn't expected that after eating so much food, the two of them would only be thirty-percent full. Were they even human?

The restaurant staff was even more shaken. This single meal was worth an entire week's sales for the restaurant. It was mind-boggling. They were literal bottomless pits.

"Whatever. Let's settle the bill and go to the next place!" Bulma said helplessly. She paid the check, and they prepared to move their battle to a new location.

"Okay!"

Qin Yan and Liya didn't refuse and agreed immediately. Their bluntness caused everyone to nearly fall over again. They truly didn't know the meaning of the word 'polite.'

After the bill was settled, the trio walked out of the restaurant. The manager watched their small, thin figures depart and finally collapsed to the ground, unable to take it anymore.

Afterward, Qin Yan and the others wandered around and visited several more restaurants. Without exception, those establishments were also eaten dry by Qin Yan and Liya.

It was only after sunset that they returned to Bulma's home.

For the next several days, Qin Yan and Liya followed Bulma around as they shopped and played. Many of the city's largest restaurants were visited one by one.

As the days passed, Bulma realized that their stomachs were truly like bottomless pitsno matter how much they ate, they never seemed to be full.
