Nara inhaled sharply, a shiver running down his spine as he felt the full extent of Rukiyo's glare, his back remained slouched, bowing— his instincts screaming at him to stay still and avoid provoking her further.
"M-My apologies." He uttered, voice trembling, his head hung low in a show of submission. "It seems that I have made a terrible mistake."
Flykra looked slightly panicked at the two of them, his own body frozen in place.
Rukiyo continued to glare at Nara for another few seconds, her eyes boring into him as the silence stretched on, but she didn't care.
"Seem?" She echoed, scoffing at his word choice, her tone remained firm and challenging, her expression stern before continuing with a clear hint of disdain. "You didn't just seem to make a mistake— you did. Just because he's a demon doesn't give you the right to belittle him."
She paused, her blood boiling. "Aren't you an elf, a being similar to him? Shouldn't you understand a thing or two about discrimination?"
