As the days passed, the routine became more tiring for Rukiyo— waking up before dawn, walking and walking through the seemingly endless forest, and stopping only to camp as the sun sets.
Nara always leaves once they settle down, disappearing into the forest in search of food and always returning with his palm covered in a magical circle, vice sprouting from it and tangling around a dead orc behind him.
The routine, much like their surroundings, never changed.. And it is beginning to exhaust her.
Time continues to pass and the novelty of the situation has long since worn off, but the constant walking, the routine, and the never-changing scenery all take a toll on Rukiyo.
She has given up hiding her true appearance, her human disguise replaced by her half-dragon form— her horns, tail, and wings constantly visible.
Her tail would flicker restlessly behind her as she walked, a clear sign of her growing frustration.
