After maybe a month of trying hard full of recommendations and Ren clearing the qualifying exam for it, Ren was at the end selected for it.
The mission didn't really was much dangerous because it included to just go there and Map out the sea floor and monitor it.
On the 15th of September, 2026 was the day of going there. Ren was very much exited out of the box he wanted to at least see the place with his own eyes.
4 boats were arranged and set to go Ren was on the boat with the Inters who's job was to monitor radiowaves and other less important things.
They travel to Greenland and then take boat from there towards the pole.
after a boring journey of 4 days they reached the marked location and out of all Ren was very much thrilled to see the place with his own eyes.
Researchers were mapping the sea floor and monitoring it. Ren was pretty bored. He went to the boat deck and was feeling the cold breeze and enjoying it.
Suddenly all the meters monitoring radio waves geological disturbances went haywire. The ocean water which was very still till now started catching movement. The currents became so strong that the Ren's boat seperated from the other three boats and was heading towards a glacier.
Everyone was panicking and to add to the situation the wind became strong, and as Ren gazed towards the glacier he noticed faint lighting sparks just above the water, which soon became more visible more lighting sparks around it, and as the lightning became more visible all electric equipment shut down on their own.
Ren's boat was violently pulled towards that sparking area and getting closer and closer and closer.
A blinding light flashed from that sparking area
When other people looked towards that place.
There was nothing.... Not a single trace of the boat...
It disappeared in thin air...
And soon enough all disturbances stopped..
Machines turned on..
ocean became still again
wind calmed down...
It felt as if nothing happened.....
