Aria's POV
My pulse was racing frantically, the judge's words were still ringing in my ear. I was as if he had just passed a death sentence to Lucian.
The press that has managed to squeeze themselves into the courtroom clustered around me trying to get a headline for their news outlets.
"Aria!"
"Aria!"
"Can we get a comment from you?"
"Do you think the judge's decision was fair and what is your next step?"
I ignored all of them,my eyes fixated on Lucian who eventually turned his head and looked straight at me. His eyes held mine for one long steady and unbroken second before the officers moved in, gripping his arms to lead him away again.
"Noooo!" The word slipped out before I could stop it. My legs moved on their own as I pushed past the row of seats, ignoring Francis's hand reaching for me. "Lucian! Wait!"
