Ever so slightly, Cassie was getting crushed by the sheer weight of a huge coral. Her hand squished flat.
her bones broken into fragments. As the water rises cassie couldn't breathe, the last remaining air she holds burst out of her mouth.
"ugh!"
Her voice muddled by water sipping into her throat down to her lungs.
Now it wasn't just her hand, the coral moved as the water rises. Cassie was already submerged underwater. From her mangled hand the heavy coral slowly rolled to her elbow. Folding it backwards, a crackling sound loud enough to be heard underwater.
Yet she couldn't screem, no air would carry her misery.
The Titanic monsters from the deep had laid waste to the obstacles on their clash. Cassie was caught between their fury.
A huge quake buncing her up along with the crimson coral. Her limping arm barely recognizable. The water was gone, letting her breath again, caughing out water. She inhaled fresh air.
"HELP!!!"
she sobs, she screems, she begs, she wanted escape. It was painful, dying was painful, she wanted to live, then the next moment she wanted to die. Her mind going back and fort, it was madness.
Her body fell into a small conclave, deep enough for most of her body to fit in. Then the huge coral followed slamming into her entire body.
The conclave stopped the coral from completely flattening Cassie into paste pushing her deeper into the narrow gap. Her left eye dangling out of her skull, her face and ribs nearly torn open by the impact alone.
"h... help..."
Had she seen the coral falling her direction she could've rolled to the side yet, the world was filled with darkness.
Then a light came, burning everything. She couldn't see what it was but it was clearly the sound of flame.

Before he could close his eyes and enter dreamrealm. He fortified himself with his shadow. What comes after he knows he'll be as prepared as he can be. His sleeping pob closes and Sunny began to sleep.
Everything is filled with darkness, not quite, there was a faint grey hue mixed in his vision. He realized he was drowning. The current was strong extremely fast. Pushing him everywhere making it hard to swim upward.
'How far is it!'
He had already summoned his shroud in case a sudden strike comes his way.
He desperately swam upward, even without air he pushed tried himself forward. his lungs squeezed inward he couldn't hold it anymore. He gulped the entire flowing water into his mouth down to his lungs. A hopeless attempt to breathe.
'I... ca- breath'
He tried to breathe, he tried to cough, he tried to swim, right when he thought he had reach the surface.

Slamming his head hard enough to cause a concussion. He was met by a rough wall, a huge coral. His mind was in disarray, he couldn't think straight. His head was bleeding, He grabbed his head and felt a huge crack, his head was split in two. His brain is being poked by his hands.
He couldn't process what was happening until he lost consciousness, dying on the spot. His body finally reached the surface of the water drifting near the shoulder of a huge statue.
The entire sea was now lowering down, Sunny's lifeless body was pulled again by the water down to the statue's foot.
A giant claw emerged from the ground stricking down at sunny. Bashing directly at his chest.
His water filled lungs caved in, blood and water came out of his mouth. His body instinctively remembered a similar impact. A punch to his gut now on to his chest. His heart beats again, his vision slowly returns.
"huuugh ghah! huu!"
both coughing and inhaling simultaneously happening at the same time.
"Ghaa!! AHHH!"
his chest slight cut open, bare ribs can be felt through the shroud.
Stinging pain couldn't ease his confusion, nausea building up. He tried to stand but he had no grounds to reach. He was being lifted up, from his feet he was dragged up then slammed down like a rag doll.
*splash*
His body was cushioned by the mud, then he vomitten blood.
'gloomy...'
All this time the shadow remained wrapped into him. Fortifying his already enhanced body.
"right, the memory."
On the day of winter solstice, Julius has given him quite a few special memory. It wasn't really special in any sense, but reassuring to have.
He summoned a rock. It's only enchantment was being tough. It's small size made it faster to summon compared to weapons.
Sunny throws it the one hold his feet. A monstrous sea creature, a carapace demon.
His hand failed to gather strength, missing its eye. Then he has being dragged up again to be slammed down.
Sunny realize he had no strength left even with his shadow's help he can't accurately hit its eye. Being dragged up, he had already summoned the rock back again. This time he was close enough to hit its eye. After successfully hitting it. It flinched and let go of his feet.

As he slams down he hurriedly stands up to gain standing, forcing his remaining leg to support his other leg mangled by the carapace demon.
Distancing himself from the sea creature he was now ready to face it head on. Not that he could escape it in the first place.
