"Vegeta, what are you doing?!" Krillin shouted.
"Isn't it obvious?" Vegeta laughed.
"I'm going to activate them."
"But Goku and the others aren't here right now—"
Before Krillin could finish, Vegeta's smile vanished.
"Even without Kakarot and the rest, I can defeat them all by myself!"
He waved his hand impatiently.
"No more nonsense. Do you have a Senzu Bean? Give me one."
Krillin hesitated for only a moment before reaching into his clothes and tossing a Senzu Bean over.
Vegeta caught it with one hand and swallowed it.
Instantly, the injuries on his body vanished, and his stamina was completely restored.
Piccolo narrowed his eyes.
"Do you think… Vegeta will be alright?" Krillin asked.
"I don't know," Piccolo said bluntly, shaking his head.
Just then, Vegeta reached out and opened the stasis pods containing Android 17 and Android 18.
With a hiss, the pods slid open.
The two androids slowly opened their eyes and looked at the man standing before them.
"Vegeta."
Vegeta chuckled lightly, "So you're awake."
"Was it you who opened the pods?" Android 18 asked.
"That's right," Vegeta replied coldly.
"But don't misunderstand—I didn't wake you out of kindness. I just want to defeat you… and then eliminate you."
"Oh?" Android 17 glanced around calmly.
"Where's Dr. Gero? Have you already killed him?"
"I didn't see Dr. Gero," Vegeta said.
"But I did eliminate an android called Android 20."
"Android 20?" Android 17 frowned slightly.
"What did he look like?"
"An old man with a white beard."
"An old man with a white beard…" Android 17 thought for a moment.
"Then Dr. Gero must have turned himself into an android."
"So that pathetic old man was Dr. Gero?" Vegeta laughed mockingly.
"No wonder his strength was so disappointing."
Android 17 shrugged, "Even if you woke us up just to fight us, I should still thank you. If not for you, we might have slept here forever."
"And for killing Dr. Gero… we won't kill you."
"Won't kill me?" Vegeta sneered.
"Do you honestly think you're capable of killing me?"
Android 17 didn't bother responding.
"Where is Son Goku? Why isn't he here?"
Vegeta snorted, "Kakarot is busy. But my current strength has already surpassed his."
"Is that so?" Android 17 nodded calmly, "then let's go outside and fight."
"Fine!"
Just then, Android 18 glanced at the stasis pod beside her.
It contained Android 19.
She stared at his grotesque appearance and frowned.
"I was going to wake him… but he's way too ugly. Let's leave him."
Android 17 nodded in agreement.
Then Android 18 noticed another stasis pod farther inside the lab.
"16?" She walked over and looked through the glass.
Inside was Android 16.
While not handsome, he was far more pleasant to look at than Android 19.
After a moment's thought, Android 18 opened the pod.
Android 16's eyes opened, and he stepped out.
"A-Another android?!" Krillin exclaimed in shock.
Vegeta snorted and flew straight outside.
Android 17 glanced once at Android 16, then followed.
Android 18 turned to Android 16.
"What's your name?"
"Android 16."
"Were you also created to kill Son Goku?"
"Yes."
Android 16 nodded calmly.
"Then let's leave this place."
"Okay."
The two walked outside.
As soon as she exited, Android 18 raised her hand and fired a Ki Blast, completely destroying Dr. Gero's research laboratory.
Seeing this, Krillin swallowed nervously.
"Piccolo… should we go find Gohan?"
The number of enemies had increased, and Vegeta was now facing three androids alone.
Although Vegeta was strong, Krillin knew he and Piccolo wouldn't be much help.
Piccolo nodded, "Alright. Krillin, you go find Gohan."
"Me?!"
"Yes."
"Okay!" Krillin immediately turned and flew away.
Android 18 tilted her head.
"Did he just run?"
"Probably went to get reinforcements," Android 17 laughed.
"You mean Son Goku?"
"Yeah," Android 17 looked back at Vegeta.
"Alright. Let's begin."
Vegeta stared straight at Android 17, his eyes filled with confidence.
He suddenly let out a roar.
"Ha!!"
Golden light exploded around his body as he transformed into a Super Saiyan.
Android 17 showed a rare hint of surprise.
"What is this?"
"This," Vegeta said coldly, "is called a Super Saiyan."
"Super Saiyan…" Android 17 nodded.
"No wonder you're so confident."
"Ha!"
Vegeta didn't waste any more time.
He launched himself straight at Android 17.
Android 17 remained still.
In an instant, Vegeta was in front of him, fists striking like lightning.
Whoosh—
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
Android 17 dodged and countered, exchanging blows with Vegeta.
Dust and shockwaves erupted around them.
Bang!!
Vegeta's right fist smashed into Android 17's face, sending him flying hundreds of meters away.
Android 17 shouted angrily and rushed back.
At first, he had only planned to test Vegeta.
But now… He got serious.
Whoosh—
Bang! Bang! Bang!!
Android 17's attacks became faster and heavier, forcing Vegeta back step by step.
Vegeta gritted his teeth and suddenly extended both hands catching Android 17's fists mid-strike.
