Lucille's breath came out in ragged pulls as she slowly released her gravity power. The crushing pressure that had pinned the zombie dissipated slowly, like an invisible hand loosening its grip.
Her knees buckled on the ground. She had to support herself with her hands, fingers digging into the dirt. Every muscle in her body trembled as a deep ache spread from her core to her limbs.
'Success... It was... a success...'
Lucille took in a deep breath, relieved that her sudden decision to try holding down the zombie had come out triumphantly. However, the success wasn't solely because of her.
She was simply taking advantage when the zombie's human consciousness took over, though briefly. Then, the others dealt the fatal blow, especially the last strike by Kevin.

The Stone's core hummed faintly. It tugged gently at her damaged core, as if reassuring her that everything had ended well.
"Thank you..." Lucille whispered hoarsely, lowering her chin.
