In an instant, the starry sky trembled.
To save his own life, Solar Sperm had poured everything he had into his God-Slaying Cannon, even going so far as to burn his very life essence.
The crimson beam of light grew increasingly horrific, pulsating with enough destructive energy to reduce a small planet to cosmic dust.
However, a single, plain, ordinary-looking fist smashed right through the center of that berserk blast.

An energy shockwave exploded outward from the point of impact, and the God-Slaying Cannon—split clean in half—shot off in two different directions toward the far reaches of the universe.
A small, uninhabited planetoid orbiting nearby was caught directly in the path of one of the redirected red beams.
SPLAT.
The planetoid was pierced effortlessly. A violent explosion rippled through its core, turning its surface blood-red before it detonated entirely, scattering into the cosmic void.
Saitama looked down at his fist and noticed a tiny, microscopic scratch on the skin. It vanished in the next heartbeat, but it still made his eyes light up.
"Not bad, you. You actually managed to scratch me! You really are full of surprises!"
At this moment, Solar Sperm had exhausted every trick and ounce of strength he possessed. His body had shriveled, and the roaring golden flames on his skin had dwindled into tiny, flickering sparks. He looked utterly withered.
When he saw that Saitama had taken his absolute strongest attack head-on and only came away with a scratched knuckle, his mind broke.
Are you even human?!!
Saitama's praise felt like a jagged blade plunging into his heart, making him wilt even further.
So... my ultimate, life-burning attack... was just a 'not bad' touch to him...?
Solar Sperm realized that since his evolution, he had viewed humans as insignificant maggots, believing that being weak was the ultimate sin.
That was the arrogance of the strong—the curse of power.
But now, facing a terrifying entity that was infinitely stronger than himself, Solar Sperm finally found enlightenment.

Solar Sperm steeled his gaze and began a desperate charge toward Saitama. His body left a trail of dark gold light in the void, hurtling forward with reckless abandon.
"Eh? You're still coming? But you're already all dried out."
Saitama looked at the mummified Solar Sperm charging at him and felt a trace of confusion.
But Saitama was a man who believed in respecting a warrior's resolve. Since Solar Sperm had such guts and showed no fear of death, he would give him one more punch as a sign of respect!
With that thought, Saitama slowly raised his fist.
Just as the two were less than a hundred meters apart, Solar Sperm's knees suddenly buckled. He performed a Power-Slide across the void of space for a hundred meters, coming to a stop right at Saitama's feet. He slammed his head down in a kowtow so powerful it literally cracked the vacuum of space:
"I am a fool who failed to recognize your greatness! Please, give me one more chance! Give me a chance to be your humble servant, your workhorse! I want to be your pet! I'm on your team, Boss!!"
Saitama felt a wave of goosebumps crawl up his arms. He stood there with his fist raised, frozen in a very awkward position.
Eventually, he sighed and lowered his hand.
After all, the guy had thrown away all dignity to beg for mercy. Killing him now just didn't feel right to Saitama.
Looking at the frantically kowtowing Solar Sperm, Saitama hesitated for a few seconds before asking:
"Uh... you want to be my pet?"
Realizing his window of survival had opened, Solar Sperm's kowtowing intensified until he was practically a golden blur. His voice was fanatical:
"Yes, Master! Since I was a larva, I've always dreamed of being part of human society! Today I've finally found a Master worthy of my devotion! I'm one of you, Boss!"
"I'm not great at raising pets. Do you eat dog food?"
"Do you want me to be a dog, Master? Of course! No problem! I am your most loyal puppy! Woof woof woof!"
"Turn those flames on your body off. You'll burn the furniture."
"Yes, Master! Understood, Master! Woof woof woof!"
"....."
"You know, if you're going to play the dog role, you don't actually have to add three woofs to the end of every sentence."
"Understood, Master! Woof woof woof!"
"Sigh... whatever. Do what you want."
And so, Saitama began flying back toward Earth, trailing a fawning, tail-wagging Solar Sperm behind him.
Saitama hadn't expected that on his trip back, he'd accidentally pick up a super-powered stray.
Watching the back of the Bald Demon's head, Solar Sperm finally felt the crushing weight on his heart lift. He relaxed completely.

In this world, he only feared King and the absolute freak of nature standing in front of him. Aside from them, he was effectively lawless.
Just then, a voice filled with cold, betrayed rage boomed in Solar Sperm's mind.
[YOU DARE SUBMIT TO THE ENEMY! YOU ARE UNWORTHY OF MY POWER! I AM TAKING IT BACK!]
Solar Sperm's vision shifted and blurred. When it cleared, he found himself in a dimension of pure, blinding white.
Before him stood the twisted, colossal humanoid entity, looking like a pillar that supported the heavens, radiating pure fury.
[You carry so much of My essence, yet you choose to kneel? You lost to a human! You do not deserve My power!]
GOD reached out His hand, intending to strip the Divine Power from Solar Sperm's body.
But in the next heartbeat, a confused voice echoed through the spiritual dimension:
"What was the designer of this place thinking? Everything is white. Don't you think the glare is a bit much?"
Both GOD and Solar Sperm froze. They turned in unison to stare at the bald man who had somehow materialized in the mental space.
