Chapter 233 - Chapter 236 Muspelheim

  Chapter 236 Muspelheim

Early the next morning, Thor requested to leave. Having experienced the banquet in Vanaheim, he had no regrets.

Moreover, he still didn't know how Odin would deal with him for secretly bringing Phineasy here, so he felt it was best to take Phineasy back as soon as possible.

The journey there had been troublesome, but the return would be much simpler.

After the people of Vanaheim escorted them out of the capital, Thor found a wide-open space, raised his hammer, and shouted loudly, "Heimdall, Heimdall!"

  "Whoosh!"

A bright beam of light descended from the sky, instantly enveloping him and Thor. Through the teleportation portal of the Rainbow Bridge, the two quickly returned to Asgard.

  "Long time no see, Heimdall!"

Phineasy greeted Heimdall, whose attire had hardly changed.

He and Thor had spent almost a month in Vanaheim this time. This might not seem like much to the Asgardians, but for him, an Earthling, it was quite a long time.

Heimdall nodded, then looked at him and Thor and said, "I see that the war in Vanaheim has mostly subsided, and people are recovering!"

  "That's good!"

Thor smiled, then stepped forward and gave Heimdall a hug before quietly asking, "How did Father seem today?"

  "The same as always!"

Heimdall replied calmly, making Phineas want to laugh. Looking at the anxious Thor, he said, "Don't worry, I'll explain to the King of Gods!"

Thor's expression relaxed slightly. As they were leaving, Heimdall reminded Phineas, "Don't forget what you promised!"

"Don't worry, I'll come find you tonight!"

Phine waved his hand, but in his heart he was thinking that Vanaheim had already been there, and he should consider which of the other realms to visit next.

Because Heimdall had been summoned back in advance, there wasn't a welcoming party. Thor, fearing Odin's anger, had rushed back to find Odin with Phine.

"How dare you bring a guest to the battlefield without permission! Is this how a prince treats his guests?"

Odin shouted at Thor upon their meeting, but Phine could tell that although his voice was loud, there wasn't much anger in it.

After all, if he were truly angry, he should have sent someone to bring Phine back the very first day he discovered the situation, instead of waiting until the war was over to hold him accountable.

  "I'm sorry, Father!"

Thor obediently lowered his head in apology. He also realized that Odin was just putting on an act and didn't seem too angry, and he breathed a sigh of relief.

Although everyone knew the truth, the process still had to be followed. Seeing the 'enraged' Odin, Phineas stepped forward and said, "Excuse my intrusion, Your Majesty!" "

It was my personal, strong request that Prince Thor take me to Vanaheim. Please forgive me, Your Majesty!"

Odin readily accepted this offer, ignoring Thor and turning to Phineas, asking, "Why do you insist on going to the battlefield?"

Actually, Odin was still somewhat puzzled as to why Phineas insisted on going to Vanaheim to participate in the war. If it was because of Thor, their friendship shouldn't have reached that point.

If it was simply due to warlike nature, although somewhat far-fetched, it was still plausible. However, Odin felt that things weren't that simple.

"I originally wanted to see what the other realms were like. Although this situation is somewhat special, it doesn't go against my original intention. Besides, Prince Thor is my friend, so helping each other is only right."

Odin glanced at Phineas with his only eye, but didn't say anything more about the matter. He turned to look at the bored Thor, feeling a strange surge of anger, and said,

"Although there were reasons for what happened, he was the one who took you away. This violates Asgardian etiquette. Therefore, Thor, I'm punishing you by disqualifying you from attending the victory celebration!"

  "Ah, Father…"

Thor opened his mouth, about to argue, when Odin waved him away impatiently: "Get out!"

Seeing this, Finney didn't say much. Besides, it was just punishment to attend a banquet; in his opinion, it wasn't even a punishment.

On the way, seeing Thor's bitter face, Finney, though somewhat puzzled, still comforted him, "It's just a banquet, didn't you just attend one?"

  "Yeah!"

Thor, hearing the word "punishment," instinctively resisted. Actually, he wasn't really in the mood for banquets.

Back in Asgard, he thought of his girlfriend on Earth. As long as this matter remained unresolved, he couldn't feel happy whenever he attended a banquet and felt the cheerful atmosphere.

"I lost this time, but I'll win back sooner or later!"

At parting, Thor admitted defeat to Finney on the battlefield. Unfortunately, there was no experience to be gained from such an admission, so Finney didn't care much.

Watching Thor turn and leave after speaking, Finney shook his head helplessly and returned to his room.

Lying in bed, Finney reviewed his gains in Vanaheim. Aside from unlocking the title of 'White Butcher,' he had acquired quite a lot this time.

After nearly a month of fighting in Vanaheim, the system's ninth experience bar was almost half full, which was definitely not slow.

After all, if he had to practice his skills every day, it would take him more than a year to reach this level.

Besides experience, he gained a 'Pearl of the Ocean' in Vanaheim, which wasn't particularly useful, but Finney felt that deducing Odin's thoughts from Njord was a worthwhile gain. He

also verified the 'City of Time Devouring's' method and speed of time plundering.

The only regret was that it wasn't confirmed whether large-scale enemy elimination would reduce experience gain.

However, Finney believed that the Nine Realms wouldn't settle down so easily, and there would be opportunities to verify it later. At least Thanos's Vanguard was waiting for him.

  ...

In the evening, Finney didn't go to the library to read, but instead took the Blue-Eyes White Dragon to Heimdall, preparing to fulfill his promise made before departure.

  Rainbow Bridge.

Looking at the enormous blue-eyed white dragon beside Phineas, Heimdall asked curiously, "Is it a girl?"

  "Yes!"

Phineas nodded, suddenly thinking that perhaps he should prepare some armor or clothes for the blue-eyed white dragon, but these things couldn't be changed when he reverted to a card.

"I've never seen a creature like her in the Nine Realms or even the universe before!"

Heimdall stared intently at the blue-eyed white dragon and said, "There's a fire dragon in Muspelheim, but it's extremely ferocious and violent, and not as beautiful as her."

  "That Land of Flames?"

Phineas felt a surge of curiosity. That world, somewhat opposed to Jotunheim, and the place where Surtur, who destroyed Asgard with a single sword strike in the original story, was born.

  "Yes!"

Heimdall's gaze drifted to the deep starry sky, and he slowly said, "It's filled with flames and chaos!"

   He even dreams of teleportation…
