Thinking back, she couldn't help but feel her legs go soft.
Luckily, a monster like Kael was here, and the Kingdom's army hadn't fully concentrated in the Royal Capital. Otherwise, she wasn't sure if Kael would have been fine, but she certainly would have been finished.
Happy said, "It's over here, let's go back and check on everyone!"

Everyone was horrified. This place was so ruined it looked like a wasteland; they couldn't believe it was the once-extravagant Edolas Royal Capital.
"Wait! You said the battle is over?!"
Edo-Lucy caught Carla's words.
"Yeah! The fight is finished, and the Kingdom of Edolas lost."
"Lost?!"
"How is that possible?!"
"The mighty Kingdom of Edolas actually..."
"You really defeated the King of Edolas?!"
The members of Fairy Tail were in disbelief. They had spent years scurrying around like rats to avoid the powerful Kingdom's army, yet only a few people had managed to bring the kingdom down. It was simply too incredible.
At that moment, everyone looked closer. Seeing the countless fallen soldiers and the remaining troops who had surrendered, they realized the Kingdom of Edolas really had been defeated.
"This is great!"
"The King of Edolas has been beaten!"
"It's truly wonderful!"
Tears of joy flowed down the faces of almost everyone in the guild.
They had lived in constant fear for years, with no idea how many of their comrades had been killed by the Kingdom.
Now that the kingdom was finally destroyed, they would never have to live a life of running and hiding again. No one could understand the sheer intensity of their relief.
"Natsu, where is everyone? Where are my sister and brother?"
Lisanna asked anxiously. After hearing Kael's words, she had tried to suppress her feelings, but the thought of her sister and brother being turned into magic power was too much. Knowing her disappearance had cost her sister her magic and turned her brother into a third-rate mage, she couldn't just stand by. She couldn't watch them die.
However, just as she was packing to leave, the members of Fairy Tail stopped her. Even though Kael had shown immense power, they didn't believe a few people could take down the Kingdom. Over the years, countless people had tried to challenge the Kingdom of Edolas, and all had failed. If Lisanna went, she would just be adding another corpse to the pile.
But Lisanna couldn't stay behind when her siblings and her guild were in danger.
Ultimately, everyone in Edolas Fairy Tail decided to come and help. If things continued as they were, they would all be killed eventually. Dying sooner or later made no difference, so they chose to make a final stand. They expected to face a massive army upon arrival, but they never expected it to be over so quickly.
"Since everyone is here, let's head back," Kael said.
Now that Lisanna had arrived, he didn't have to go looking for her.
"Take Over: Ulquiorra!"
Kael transformed into Ulquiorra.

Kael snapped his fingers.
Vroom—!
A crack appeared in space, tearing upward and downward to reveal a mysterious opening.
"That's..."
Lucy recognized it immediately. This was the same magic Kael had used to send Loke back to the Celestial Spirit World.
"What is this?! Whoa!!"
Natsu curiously stepped inside, only to start falling immediately. Kael was quick enough to grab Natsu by his scarf.
"Idiot! Inside is a void in space-time. It's endless space in every direction. If you get lost in there, you're dead!"
"What?!"
Natsu was terrified. He hadn't realized how dangerous the path was.
Kael stepped inside, his feet quickly forming footholds out of Reishi. "Alright, everyone come in. Just don't fall off the path."
With Natsu's example fresh in their minds, the group carefully stepped onto the platforms.
Natsu looked at the Reishi footholds with curiosity. "These things look really thin! They won't break, will they?"
Lucy immediately warned him, "Don't you dare try to kick them! If we fall from here, we're all finished!"
Back in the Galuna Island ruins, Natsu's reckless kicking had shattered the floor and sent them all falling.
"Sister Mira... Brother Elfman..."
Lisanna looked at the Edolas versions of Mira and Elfman.
"Even though we knew you weren't the Lisanna we knew, we never said anything. We're sorry."
Elfman said, patting Lisanna on the head.
Edo-Mira couldn't stop her tears, but she wore a smile as she took Lisanna's hand. "Go back to your world, Lisanna. You are just as kind and thoughtful as the Lisanna we lost, so you can't let your real brother and sister be sad anymore."
"Sister Mira!! Brother Elfman!!"
With tears streaming down her face, Lisanna stepped into the Garganta.
Kael looked back at Mystogan. "Mystogan, aren't you coming?"
Mystogan shook his head. "No. This is my home. The Kingdom is in chaos, and I can't just walk away."
"The Prince has grown up!"
Panther Lily felt a great sense of pride hearing Mystogan's words.
"Give my regards to everyone in the guild!"
"I see. Well then, goodbye!"
Whoosh—!
The Garganta closed, leaving no trace in the air.
