Claire Sinclair excitedly wrapped her arms around his neck, a sweet joy blooming in her heart. "It's too bad I'm on my period, or I'd definitely reward you with myself. I'm suddenly so happy!"
"Claire..." Adrian Quincy had a wounded look on his face.
Claire smiled playfully, rising onto her tiptoes to peck him on the cheek. "There, one little kiss is enough. I'm hungry."
Adrian held her small hand. "Try on the cheongsam first. If it doesn't fit, we can have it altered."
"Okay, I'll try it on, then we can eat!" Claire took the cheongsam off the hanger and made to go into the bathroom to change.
Adrian grabbed her wrist, his voice surprisingly hoarse. "Claire, change in here."
"N-no..." Claire's face flushed. She was too embarrassed to change in front of him. Even though there were no secrets between them, it still felt strange.
Adrian tightened his grip on her hand. "Claire, I want to watch."
"But..."
