Helen Wallace theorized, "Then there's only one possibility. The assassin who killed those two was an ally."
Aiden Howkins said, "If he were an ally, he would have given us some kind of signal."
Helen Wallace smiled. "Many people prefer to do good deeds anonymously. I'd bet it was one of Ethan Kingsley's men."
Quentin Zane retorted, "Not necessarily Ethan Kingsley. Remember at the premiere, Red J spirited the Young Madam away without a trace, but she returned completely unharmed. It's obvious Red J has some kind of interest in her."
Hearing this, Aiden Howkins and Helen Wallace looked at Quentin Zane in unison. "Are you suspecting the Young Madam is involved with Wild Cherry House?"
Quentin Zane shook his head. "It's just a gut feeling. And as you know, my intuition is usually wrong."
Just as the three of them were in the middle of their heated discussion, Adrian Quincy suddenly spoke. "Claire isn't that kind of person. Don't make baseless assumptions."
