Joan Shaw looked away, embarrassed. She had to admit, she could never get tired of looking at such a handsome man.
"So, uh, can I have my motorcycle back now? I'm working as your housekeeper and even got injured on the job. I've earned it with my hard work, haven't I?"
After sitting for a moment, Joan Shaw got up and walked over to stand behind Miles Xavier.
Miles Xavier was bent over, putting away the first-aid kit. When he straightened up, his tall, imposing figure completely blocked Joan Shaw's view.
She was 161cm tall—not particularly tall, but not especially short, either. Standing next to Miles Xavier, however, she only came up to his shoulder, which made her seem petite and delicate.
"Three more hours. Finish these three hours, and I'll return your things," Miles Xavier said coolly, suddenly wrapping a large hand around her back.
She jumped and tried to back away. "Wh-what are you doing...?"
Miles Xavier leaned in, slowly lowering his face toward hers.
