Ashley Bowen couldn't remember a single thing the report said after that.
She just stared blankly at the screen, at the image of a vast, empty sea where ships were conducting the search.
'Eight o'clock last night... at that time, wasn't I having dinner with Vivian and the others?'
"What kind of joke is this?" Ashley Bowen said, feigning composure as she placed the will on the table.
'Yuri Sinclair is incredibly resourceful. Faking a news report like this would be child's play for him.'
She looked at Sean and smiled, but tears were clearly welling in the corners of her eyes.
