Aaron Wyatt gave her a warm smile. "I know you like Western food, so I made a reservation before we left. That way, we could come eat as soon as we got back."
Annabelle Linton's heart warmed. She hadn't expected him to be so thoughtful. She gave a faint smile. "Thank you."
"Silly, haven't I told you not to be so formal with me?" Aaron Wyatt gently flicked her on the forehead with his finger.
Annabelle Linton's poker face showed precious little emotion. She gave another helpless smile. "It's a habit."
Aaron Wyatt also smiled helplessly.
'My fiancée is a woman of few words. It's cool, but man, is it exhausting...'
But he knew this was the most open Annabelle Linton was with him, a side of her he alone saw.
She wouldn't talk this much with other people, nor would she smile.
The steaks were served shortly after.
