Back in their room, Laura Lowell took a quick shower. When she emerged wrapped in a bath towel, Aiden Shaw was standing on the balcony, on the phone.
The weather in Borale was warm, perfect for a dress. Laura Lowell chose a long white one and changed, casually tying her long hair up in a bun.
She walked barefoot onto the balcony and wrapped her arms around Aiden Shaw from behind. A warm breeze lifted the hem of her white dress.
Aiden Shaw's warm palm covered Laura Lowell's hand. He exchanged a few brief words with the person on the phone before hanging up. "Ethan just called. He said the situation with Zachary Redgrave has been handled."
"That's good. Thank God he wasn't replaced. Otherwise, that goody-two-shoes would be insufferably smug."
