Just as Damien Valerius's car pulled over to the side of the road, the person sent to get Aurora Sterling's ID and exam supplies arrived from the other direction.
"They've cordoned off the area. Your car can't get in, so I'll just walk from here." Aurora sounded anxious, unbuckling her seatbelt as she spoke, ready to jump out.
"Wait," Damien Valerius, sitting beside her, suddenly said, stopping her.
Aurora paused and looked at Damien Valerius. "What's wrong?"
The man's obsidian eyes stared at Aurora, a look of displeasure on his face. "What are you wearing?"
Aurora glanced down at what she was wearing—it was still the same pink pajama set. From last night until the incident, she hadn't had any time to go home and change. "Pajamas as outerwear is a fashion trend right now."
Damien Valerius was speechless.
