"Isn't the train after eight? It's only five-thirty now. If we get up at seven, eat for ten minutes, and leave, we can catch the tram before twenty past. It's a half-hour ride to the station, so we should get there before they even start checking tickets." Ian Quincy had calculated the time precisely.
"I woke up and can't get back to sleep." Cecilia Adler struggled to get up.
Ian Quincy wrapped an arm around her waist and pushed her back down. "If you can't sleep, we can do something else."

「By the time the sun was fully up.」
The old woman came looking for Cecilia Adler. The bedroom door was shut tight, and the curtains were drawn.
'Still not up?'
'They're going back to her hometown today. Cecilia can't possibly be in the mood to sleep.'
'This isn't like Cecilia at all.'
She knocked on the door. "Cecilia, are you up? It's six-forty."
