"I am ready to sleep, possibly until tomorrow noon," Day grumbles as he leans on his door. Travis is seeing him off, and the alpha leans in and kisses him.
"Are you sure you are okay? You have been silent throughout since Mom left. Was she too much?"
Day laughs, looking at Travis with fondness. "How can your mom be too much?"
"You don't know her as I do."
"I would assume, since she is your mom and all. You two have known each other since she birthed you," he says, a smile breaking on his face.
Travis huffs a laugh and leans in, nose buried on the juncture of his neck.
"She can be too much, so I would understand if she made you so tired."
"I took up tennis," Day says. "When I was in school today, I was told I had to sign up for a sport or else I would fail my coursework, so I went and signed up for tennis.
