Chapter 233: 252. Xiao Wu, Do You See This? It's My Clear Sky Hammer

The five of them wandered around the edge of the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well but still couldn't find an entrance.

It felt as though someone had erected an illusion barrier around the treasure ground itself. Tang San grew agitated, his eyes bloodshot as he shouted furiously, "Damn it! It must be the Spirit Hall—no doubt about it, it has to be the Spirit Hall!"

"The reborn ones from Spirit Hall must've gotten here before us," Tang San said through gritted teeth, "and now they've placed barriers to keep others out. Damn them! This place was unowned! Heaven and Earth's treasures should be shared among those fated to find them! How can they be this selfish?"

"You're right, Ah San," Dai Mubai said, "but what do we do now?"

"Yeah, Ah San," Ma Hongjun added anxiously, "what about my Scarlet Phoenix Chrysanthemum?"

Tang San thought for a moment. "At this point, our only option is to contact my father. Whoever set this barrier can't be that strong. With a Titled Douluo's help, we could break it easily."

As for the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan, Tang San immediately dismissed the idea. He knew Ning Fengzhi too well—if they borrowed his power to enter the Well, and they later drove Spirit Hall away, Ning Fengzhi would seize the place instantly. Then this treasure ground would belong to the Ning Clan, not the Tang Clan.

So, they had no choice but to return empty-handed.

Throughout the trip back, their hearts were heavy. The upcoming Continental Soul Master Tournament loomed in their minds. In the previous life, the Spirit Hall team's three Soul Kings alone had put immense pressure on them. Only the immortal herbs from the Well had closed the gap between Shrek and Spirit Hall's Golden Generation.

But this time… those herbs had been taken. With that divine aid, Spirit Hall's strength would reach terrifying heights, while Shrek's own chances of even reaching the finals were uncertain.

When they finally returned, Blue Tyrant Academy had already been renamed to Shrek Academy.

Later, Tang San met Ning Fengzhi at an auction and drew his attention through the use of hidden weapons. Unlike before, however, Xiao Wu wasn't with him this time.

Elsewhere, Xiao Wu gently touched Tai Long's empty shoulder and asked softly, "What happened to your arm?"

Tai Long said bitterly, "Don't even mention it. It's all Tang Hao's fault! If he hadn't provoked Spirit Hall, my whole clan wouldn't have been dragged into this mess—I wouldn't have ended up like this!"

At that, Xiao Wu's ears twitched. "Tang Hao? You know Tang Hao?"

"Of course!" Tai Long's voice trembled with anger. "That immoral bastard—everyone wants him dead!"

He scowled. "I never understood my grandfather. Why would he ever swear loyalty to someone like that? Because of him, our clan even has to treat Tang Hao's son as our master. Disgraceful!"

"So you never wanted to serve Tang Hao?" Xiao Wu asked quietly, her eyes narrowing.

"Of course not!" Tai Long muttered, glancing down at his missing arm—and what lay beneath his loincloth—with deep shame. "Xiao Wu… I'm like this now. Do you think I still have the right to love you?"

"Of course," said Xiao Wu, gently cupping his cheek before kissing him. "No matter what happens to you, Xiao Wu will always accept you."

"Thank you, Xiao Wu. You're the kindest woman in the world…"

"Tai Long giegie," she murmured, "Xiao Wu needs your help with a little performance."

"Whatever you need, I'll do it—even if it costs my life!"

"Thank you, Tai Long giegie." She then whispered her full plan into his ear.

The next day, when Tang San came to class, he saw Tai Long "bullying" Xiao Wu—just as planned. Tang San rushed up, flattened Tai Long, and then turned to Xiao Wu with concern, reaching out to comfort her. "Xiao Wu, are you alright?"

"I'm fine," she said coldly, turning away. "Don't touch me. Your hands are dirty."

Tang San looked helplessly at his hand, sighing inwardly. After that incident with the giant lizard, it seemed Xiao Wu wouldn't forgive him anytime soon.

But then a thought struck him. The upcoming confrontation with Tai Nuo and Tai Tan could be his opportunity—an opening to show Xiao Wu his true power and potential. There was no need to hide his Clear Sky Hammer any longer.

So Tang San kicked Tai Long again—hard.

Sure enough, the next day, Tai Nuo arrived looking for revenge.

Fortunately, Tang San was prepared. Even without his Eight Spider Lances, he easily defeated Tai Nuo using his Tang Sect techniques and hidden weapons.

After overpowering the Strength King, Tang San looked toward Xiao Wu—only to see her chatting with Er Ming and Yu Tianheng. A pang of jealousy stabbed his heart.

Just wait, Xiao Wu. When Tai Tan shows up, you'll see what I'm truly capable of, Tang San thought, summoning his Clear Sky Hammer.

On the third day, Tai Tan arrived with his son and grandson, furious and ready for a fight.

After witnessing Tang San's talent, Tai Tan decided to test him first. He imposed crushing Soul Power pressure, trying to force Tang San to yield and join his clan.

Tang San endured the pressure for nearly the full duration of one incense stick before finally unleashing his second martial spirit—the Clear Sky Hammer.

When it appeared, Tai Tan froze completely. But Tang San didn't care for his shock. To him, Tai Tan was just one of the Tang Clan's loyal dogs—self-feeding, obedient, needing no reward. What Tang San truly wanted… was for Xiao Wu to see this.

Raising the Clear Sky Hammer high under Tai Tan's oppressive aura, Tang San shouted inwardly, "Do you see this, Xiao Wu? This is my other martial spirit—the Clear Sky Hammer. I am a twin-spirit wielder: one Clear Sky Hammer, one Blue Silver Emperor. Your enemy is Bibi Dong—a dual-spirit master who achieved mastery. Xiao Wu, in this world, only I, Tang San, can avenge your mother's death!"

And indeed, Xiao Wu saw it—from the corner of the hall. But her gaze wasn't the same as before. Gone was the look of amused tolerance or shallow admiration.

Now, her eyes were full of cold hatred.

Tang San… so it's true. You're the son of my mother's killer, she thought, her heart freezing over with rage.

Just as Tai Tan was about to kneel and pledge loyalty, Gu Rong stepped out to diffuse the scene.

Tang San blinked in surprise. His memories from twenty thousand years ago were hazy, but he distinctly remembered—Tai Long, Tai Nuo, and Tai Tan had all had both arms intact back then. And Gu Rong—his hands, too?

Wait… what's going on? Did Yang Guo start a wholesale business?
