Jay was driving his car while looking annoyed.
"Seriously... why am I getting missions even during training?"

A voice came from the passenger seat.
"Because missions never stop."
Jay instantly turned his head.
Ansh was sitting there comfortably.
Jay nearly slammed the brakes.
"ANSH!"
"Can you never appear like a normal human being?"
Ansh laughed.

A few minutes later, they arrived at HQ.
They got out of the car and walked straight toward Aditya's office.
Inside the room—
Ishita was already sitting in a chair.
She looked at Aditya.
"Sir, what's today's mission?"
Aditya replied,
"Let's wait for Jay."
At that moment—
The door opened.
Jay entered and sat down.
Aditya's expression turned serious.
"The mission is simple."
"You two need to go to Nangloi City."
"A Gate has opened there."
Jay frowned.
"Where exactly?"
"Right in the center of the city."
Aditya nodded.
"But the Gate isn't the problem."
"The problem is that two hunters entered it..."
"...and they haven't returned for the last four hours."

A massive battlefield stretched before them.

A giant figure stepped out from the sea of demons.

The demon chuckled.
"My name is Vexar."
"And I know you because of your parents."
Jay's expression immediately changed.
"You knew them?"
Vexar nodded slowly.
"Long ago."

Jay tightened his grip on his sword.
"Ishita."
"Let's finish this."
Both of them charged forward.
Vexar raised his hand.
The demon army rushed toward them.
The battle began.
"Summon Thalvor."
"Summon Eclipsa."

Thalvor and Eclipsa appeared on the battlefield.
Jay pointed forward.
"You two handle the demons."
"The boss is mine."

Both immediately joined the fight.
Jay and Ishita cut through wave after wave of demons.

Vexar looked toward a powerful demon standing beside him.
"Stop the girl."
"Bloodbond belongs to me."

The demon appeared in front of Ishita.
"Fight me first."
Ishita smiled.
"Gladly."
Their battle started instantly.
Meanwhile—
Jay dashed toward Vexar.

A powerful punch sent Vexar sliding backward.
Vexar laughed.
"Impressive."
"But not enough."
He raised his hand.
Giant dark claws formed around him.

The claws shot toward Jay.

Jay blocked them with his sword.
Shockwaves spread across the battlefield.

Vexar dropped to one knee.
Then he laughed.

"Bloodbond really has become just like his parents."
Jay frowned.

Vexar's body began dissolving into darkness.
Before disappearing completely, he said one final sentence.
"The truth about your parents..."
"...can be found inside the Infinite Gate."

All remaining demons turned into dust and disappeared.

Ishita walked over after finishing her own battle.
"Is it over?"
Jay slowly nodded.

Jay and Ishita exited the Gate.
They started walking in different directions.

Jay's phone rang.
Pooja Calling...
He answered.
"Yeah, Pooja?"
Her voice came from the other side.
"Bhai..."
"I won't be able to come to the amusement park today."
"I got some work."
"Don't wait for me."
Jay sighed.
"Alright."
The call ended.
For a few seconds, Jay stood there thinking.
"Who should I go with now?"
The first name that came to his mind was Ansh.
Then he immediately rejected the idea.

"Ansh would probably start a disaster there."
Then he thought about Kabir.

One Hour Later Wonder Galaxy Amusement Park
Jay and Ishita stood in front of the entrance.
The entire park was glowing with colorful lights.

"This is my first time at an amusement park."
Jay looked surprised.

The first ride they went to was the giant Ferris Wheel.

Jay sat beside her laughing.

"The ride just started."

They stepped outside.
Ishita's hair was completely ruined.
Jay immediately burst out laughing.
"Hahahahaha!"
Ishita frowned.
"Why are you laughing?"
Jay pulled out his phone.
And showed her a photo he had secretly taken.
The moment she saw it—
She froze.
"DELETE IT!"
Jay laughed even harder.

The two sat in the food court.
Burgers and cold drinks covered their table.
While eating, Ishita suddenly asked,
"By the way..."
"Why did you invite me?"
Jay answered casually.
"Pooja couldn't come."
"Ansh is crazy."
"Kabir is annoying."
"So you were the only option left."
The smile instantly disappeared from Ishita's face.
"Oh."
"So I was the backup option?"
Jay froze.
A second later—
He realized what he had just said.
"Wait!"
"That's not what I meant!"
But Ishita had already turned her face away.
Jay grabbed his head.
