This thing is anything but ordinary.
As long as you clearly picture a destination in your mind and open the door, you can arrive there instantly.
That kind of ability borders on myth.
The Room of Spirit and Time manipulates time.
The Anywhere Door ignores space.
And time and space have always been the most terrifying fundamental laws of existence.
In the world of pirates, there is a Devil Fruit tied to time—the Time-Time Fruit, once eaten by Kozuki Toki, Komurasaki's mother.
She used its power to send Momonosuke, Kin'emon, and the others twenty years into the future.
Toki herself even seemed to originate from the distant past.
In short, the Time-Time Fruit was far too mysterious.
Luo Xing had always wanted to find it, but to this day, he hadn't uncovered even the slightest clue.
Even Komurasaki knew nothing about it.
As for space—
there was no known Space-Space Fruit, though the Door-Door Fruit could open doors in the air and bypass short distances.
But its user, Blueno of CP9, had already been killed by Who's-Who in Water 7.
At the time, Luo Xing hadn't thought much of that ability.
Perhaps Blueno simply never pushed the fruit to awakening.
If awakened, it might have reached a level comparable to the Anywhere Door.
After an entire day and night—
Luo Xing finally completed the Anywhere Door.
However, there was one detail that exceeded his expectations.
The Anywhere Door wasn't as simple as "think of a place and go."
First, it required precise location data to be input.
And because it wasn't originally from the pirate world, it contained no geographic data at all.
Luo Xing thought for a moment—
this wasn't a difficult problem.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a glass sphere containing a needle—
A Log Pose, essential for navigation on the Grand Line.
Log Poses recorded island coordinates.
All he had to do was convert that information and input it into the door.
Simple enough.
He had Log Poses for every place he'd visited.
The one in his hand now pointed to Thriller Bark, where he'd just come from.
Not long after, the location data was fully entered.
Luo Xing closed his eyes and imagined Perona's room.
He opened the door.
And stepped through.
Pink.
That was the first thing he saw.
A completely pink bedroom.
On a round bed lay Perona, twin ponytails tied neatly, sleeping soundly.
Her sleeping posture was anything but proper—
she hugged a half-destroyed teddy bear, stuffing already spilling out.
She seemed to be dreaming.
Muttering in her sleep while tugging at the bear's fur, she said:
"Bad guy… I'll beat you up…"
"Hmph, scared now, aren't you? Kneel and repent before me!"
Luo Xing looked at her with a strange expression.
There was no need to guess who that "bad guy" was.
"Ahem."
He gave a light cough.
Perona's slender body trembled slightly as she groggily opened her eyes—
And then—
Her eyes flew wide open.
"AAAAAAAH!!!"
A piercing scream echoed through the entire Thriller Bark.
Even Luo Xing felt his ears ringing.
He knew he couldn't stay any longer.
If someone saw this, it would damage his dignified image.
While calmly saying,
"Don't scream. I was just… checking on your condition,"
He reopened the Anywhere Door—
And vanished.
Less than a minute later, Moria and Absalom rushed in.
Seeing Perona's terrified expression, Moria roared angrily:
"Who did this?! Tell me! I'll tear that bastard apart!"
Perona, eyes wide with fear, cried:
"A ghost! There was a ghost just now, Lord Moria!"
Moria & Absalom:
"???"
A ghost?
This place was full of zombies.
And Perona herself was basically a ghost.
What kind of ghost would dare come here?
Naturally, they didn't see the "ghost."
That "ghost" had already returned to Wano Country.
Back in his laboratory, Luo Xing let out a helpless smile.
The Anywhere Door clearly couldn't be used recklessly.
It startled people too easily—and could cause unpredictable situations.
Still—
He was very satisfied.
With this door, traveling would become absurdly convenient.
And Yamato would never notice anything unusual.
He quickly input the locations of:
Dressrosa (Viola & Rebecca)
Punk Hazard (Tashigi & Ain)
Cocoyashi Village (Nami & Nojiko)
Alabasta (Robin & Vivi)
He also wanted to input Amazon Lily, but he'd never been there and lacked a Log Pose.
With a sigh, he resolved that the next time he saw Boa Hancock, he'd definitely ask her for one.
With the important work done, Luo Xing finally left the lab.
Outside—
Kaido.
Yamato.
Queen.
Jack.
Aside from the training-obsessed Zoro, nearly every major Beast Pirate figure was waiting.
Yamato rushed forward first, eyes sparkling.
"Husband! What did you invent this time? Show me!"
Kaido was just as impatient.
"Hurry up, son-in-law!"
Queen, Jack, and the others shouted in unison:
"Let us see it, Young Master!"
Every one of Luo Xing's inventions had shaken the world.
How could they not be excited?
Smiling, Luo Xing gave a signal, and a Cybertronian wheeled out the Anywhere Door.
Everyone froze.
"…A door?"
Queen scratched his bald head. "That's it? What's special about a door?"
Kaido circled it several times and frowned.
"Son-in-law… what does this thing actually do?"
Luo Xing smiled mysteriously.
"Father-in-law, do you have a Log Pose?"
Kaido dug into his pocket and handed one over.
Under countless curious gazes, Luo Xing input the data.
Then he said:
"Close your eyes. Picture the location recorded in that Log Pose.
Then open the door."
Kaido was thoroughly confused—but complied.
He imagined the location—
And pulled the handle.
The door opened.
And beyond it—
Was exactly the space he had imagined.
"WHAT?!"
Then something happened that shocked even Luo Xing.
Kaido—
the strongest creature of land, sea, and air—
Let out a startled shout and staggered backward, nearly losing his balance.
At the same moment—
In Whole Cake Island, Big Mom had just finished devouring an enormous cake and was happily bathing.
Singing cheerfully:
"Ma~ma~ma~
I'm the strongest woman in the world~"
Then—
A door suddenly appeared.
It opened.
And Kaido walked out.
Big Mom froze.
Her eyes bulged.
Then her face twisted violently as she unleashed a roar that shook all of Totto Land:
"KAIDO, YOU BASTARD—
HOW DARE YOU SNEAK A PEEK WHILE I'M BATHING!!!"
