Evelyn spoke very quickly; she always did this when she was nervous.
As soon as she finished speaking, and was about to escape to the dining room, Caden Lockwood seized her wrist, lifted her horizontally, and carried her to the bedroom.
Evelyn sighed inwardly: I'm done for, I'm definitely going to get scolded!
Caden Lockwood tossed Evelyn onto the bed. Although his expression was fierce, it was obvious that he intentionally used less force, supporting her with his palm until she was almost on the bed, then letting go.
"Why don't you listen?" Caden Lockwood opened his mouth with accusations, full of anger.
Evelyn knew all too well that Caden Lockwood was referring to her going to The Lockwood Family to find James Lockwood.
"What did I do now!" Evelyn's tone was coquettish.
Anyway, she knew that Caden Lockwood couldn't bear to really do anything to her.
"What did you do?" Caden Lockwood snorted coldly, "Evelyn Morgan, if you keep pretending to be clueless, I'll show you!"
