Evelyn pouted, knowing that staying wouldn't be of much help, but she still didn't want to leave.
This side of her was indeed quite selfish!
However, she wanted to give herself a chance, a chance not to leave—perhaps she could find something else to help them with.
She knew there must be another way!
Thinking about it, Evelyn immediately got out of bed, ran to the kitchen, found Aunt May, and said hurriedly, "I'll cook lunch today!"
"Young Madam?" Aunt May raised an eyebrow, "So eager today?"
Evelyn blushed and softly said, "Aunt May, what's good for the brain? Or... are there any ingredients that relieve pain? If not, really healthy ones will do too!"
Aunt May immediately understood what Evelyn meant and laughed, "Young Madam, you're not trying to cook for the young master, are you?"
Evelyn was taken aback, annoyed that Aunt May saw through her so quickly.
She awkwardly said, "Of course not! I just want to eat! It's for my period pain, to relieve... period pain."
