Rhys Blackwood had somehow appeared behind her, his black eyes glinting. "It's at least ten times sharper than a bone knife."
Crimson mischievously crawled up his wrist. When the little snake cub saw the cold, gleaming kitchen knife in Daddy's hand, it wanted to try touching it with its tail.
"Stop messing around."
Rhys was quick as lightning, pinching Crimson right at its weak spot. The little snake pouted and stuck out its tongue pitifully.
Luna Sutton couldn't help laughing out loud. She tapped its head lightly with her fingertip. "Silly, this knife is really sharp. It could slice your tail and make you bleed."
Malachi Arcanus grabbed a large iron shovel, weighed it in his hand, and said, "This is good for digging. We only had the one Luna gave us before. Now no need to fight over it."
Kian Sterling's gaze landed on the twenty hoes lined up, the metal glinting with a chilly blue under the sunlight.
