Two young beastmen carried a wooden frame past, freshly fired tiles hanging from it, making crisp sounds as they clinked together.
"I actually have an idea."
Luna picked up a charcoal pen and drew a small circle next to the smelting area. "Build a high wall around the perimeter, put broken pottery shards on top, or even some poisonous vines if we have them."
The tip of the pen drew out a few more lines. "Leave two exits; we'll take turns guarding day and night."
The Priest's cloudy eyes suddenly lit up, clapping in delight: "That's a good idea! It'll keep out both wild beasts and thieves."
Kian Sterling smiled gently, but his fingers deftly took away the charcoal pen: "And it'll stop any clueless scouts."
His fox-like eyes swept over her clay-stained fingers. "Done with things by the furnace?"
He casually handed her a damp beast cloth.
"Corbin is watching over it."
