Nolan Sterling frowned at these words, his voice cold as a serpent flicking its tongue.
The steward had just entered the hall. Upon hearing this, his knees buckled and he promptly dropped to the floor: "Reporting to Your Highness, the Third Prince says that Chloe Callahan is not a consort of the Royal Family. She must either leave the Royal Palace, or go clean the beast latrine..."
The hall fell silent for a moment.
Nolan shot a glance at the steward kneeling on the ground and sneered, "Clean the beast latrine? The Third Prince sure knows how to pick a job."
Lately, he'd been driven up the wall by the incidents at Cragfall and the Illusion Leaf scandal—he didn't even dare leave his room for fear of being mocked.
Now the Third Prince even wanted to mess with the person he brought back?
"Tell her to get lost and not bother me."
Nolan couldn't be bothered with Chloe Callahan right now, waving his hand in irritation.
