"Krazt, what the hell are you doing?"
The other beastmen glared angrily at Krazt when they saw what happened.
Krazt hadn't expected his sneaky move to be caught by everyone. He panicked for a second, but quickly regained his cool and argued, "It wasn't on purpose! I just slipped and accidentally kicked a little stone. Who'd have guessed it'd hit Corbin's arm..."
The beastmen present all frowned in doubt, unsure if they believed him or not, but they didn't say either way.
One of them couldn't help but lean forward to look down at the bottomless cliff.
White mist swirled thickly, blocking their view. There was no telling what lay at the bottom—they simply couldn't see.
Fall from this height, and chances of survival were slim to none.
"What do we do now?"
One of the beastmen looked at the others, his expression grave as he asked.
If Quinn and Warwick died, so be it—they were just people the leader wanted brought back anyway.
